international transformers conventions - facts and figures

The Transformers franchise has a long and profitable future with what seems like an ever increasing fanbase. To celebrate Hasbro and Takara's creation known, various fan-groups were set up, most notibly the TransMasters and TransMasters Europe groups. In 1994 the Transformers brand was given it's first officially licenced convention, BotCon, organised by 3H (Jon Hartman, Karl Hartman and Glen Hallitt).

Since then many Transformers conventions have pop-up across not only the United States of America, but throughout Europe, Asia and Australasia. Some conventions only happened once, others have become an annual event where Transformers fans can gather in their hundreds and even thousands. At Transformers At The Moon, we wanted to thank all the organisers, helpers and people involved in all of these conventions and dedicate an area of our site to their hard work. So back in 2003 we researched as many Transformers conventions as we could, in order to get the offical attendences figures as well as information on all of the events. Our hope was to encourage more people to attend the conventions, and help publicise their existence.

As well as viewing the facts and figures of the Transformers Coneventions on this page, you will find various reports and image galleries in our Miscellaneous Image Gallery's Transformers Convention Photograph area.

If you run, or ran, a Transformers convention and would like to add more information to this page, please get in contact with us.
KEY: tbc - attendece figures not released, n/a - the convention did not take place that year (as far as we can tell).
