Issue 10 of the UK exclusive Transformers comic from Titan Magazines was released on the Thursday 27th March 2008.
The issue came with a free Missile Blaster, featured the 2nd part of the alternative Transformers Movie universe where it was
the Decepticons who came out on top at the end of the events of the first live action Transformers Movie. The
issue also featured a first look at Transformers Animated, with the show debuting on UK TV just two
days before the comics release. As usual, the issue consisted of the UK strip, the next part of the Transformers Movie
prequal story from IDW and the next segment of IDWs Beast Wars: The Gathering story.
The feature of the month was on Transformers Animated rather than a Transformer from the live action film.
In the article TransformersAnimated.com, which is
run by the team behind Transformers At The Moon is referred to as the Official Transformers Animated site.
For the record, we'd like to state that we did not know that our sister-site was going to be named in the article, and though we are
deeply flattered that Titan Magazine consider the site to be the official Transformers Animated website, we feel that we should point out that this is not the case.

The UK Exclusive strip, drawn by Jeremy Tiongson and coloured by Jason Cardy, looks fantastic, and blends in seamlessly with the IDW comics. The colouring is top notch, and shows the difference that this skill makes to the whole feel. The story, part 2, continues from the previous month seeing lots of human action, with Optimus Prime still frozen in ice. Dreadwind features in the story, along side Ironhide, with guest appearances by Ratchet, Arcee and some of the small Transformers Movie basics, including Elita-1.
The Transformers Animated feature was a little small, I was hoping for more, but it does state that this will be continued next month. Of cause by the the first series would have ended on Nicktoons. The letters page is full of artwork this month as well, which fits in nicely with the Starscream colouring-in section and the Design your own Transformer (where you have to draw). Four pages of letters again, though there are actually only four as the artwork fills up some space, with the featured website being Hasbro Toyshop (bit of a cop-out).
Next months issues features Bumblebee and Megatron on the cover and comes with more Transformers Stickers and there is a nice large advert for Transformers Animated on the back ... and we know how much it costs to advertise in the comic, as we asked prior to issue 1. The competition this month is for Slumblebee and Softimus Prime, well worth entering as those Softie Transformers are great, and a second competition for Swindle. Yep that's right, the red shelf warmed is a competition prize.
