Jap G1 Guard City image gallery - TFATM - 10-23-2010 03:38 PM

Please use this thread to discuss the Jap G1 Guard City image gallery news story on the main site.

During our recent holiday to Japan we managed to pick up one of the few Generation One Transformers toys which we did not own.  The figure was actually a giftset of the Japanese gestault Guard City, the partial recolour of the Protectobots.

You can see the combined Guard City gallery
You can find the gallery for Fire Chief, the recolour of HotSpot
The recolour of Blades if Fly-Up who has been photographed with the unreleased G2 Blades toy
Streetwise and unrelased G2 Streetwise are also compared to Streetstar(who's name was used in the BotCon 2010 set.
As with Fly-Up and Streetstar, Sparkrider has also been photographed with the original G1 and unreleased G2 Groove toys.
The final toy which makes up Guard City is the recolour of First Aid called Saftey

That can't have been cheap!!
Not seen much about it before, so thanks for sharing.

PS - the images for the combined mode seem to not be there when clicking the thumbnails?

I think the colours work well on the individual figures but the combined figure is not as good as defensor.
