Got PowerCore Huffer and Searchlight.

Both nice complex Basics, plus there's more MiniCons for me to collect.

Personally I think I'll be putting most of my PCCs in my Classics display.

That's the reason I chose Huffer in the first place, so that if i didn't like the concept he could join the ranks of my classics autobots in place of the botcon one I was cheated out of a few years ago.

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys - Unitedbot - 08-13-2010 09:20 PM

Animated Rodimus and Ironhide Smile from Robot Kingdom

Re: Transformers Brags - What's your latest buys - minion - 08-15-2010 01:06 PM

Very nice AA haul:

Sleep Mode Convoy thanks to TF@TM - just an amazing Masterpiece toy
Challenge at Cybertron 3 pack from Kapow
Disney Label Buzz Lightyear from Kapow
Marvel Crossovers Black Spider-man (sportscar) from Kapow
AA excl IDW comic from Toyz n Gamez

... and one of my favourites bits - a sketch of Transformers Animated Octopunch from Derrick J Wyatt! Big Grin

Transformers Power Core Combiners Bombshock with Combaticons. Bombshock himself is solid if a little small. The drones are okay, but the arms are mismatched and the legs a little unstable. The autotransforming is refreshing and novel. Not as strongly recommended as Huffer, but it's a decent set if you're curious about the line.

Dude!
How is that set, I have been on the edge of ordering for some time..?

Cyclonus = amazing. best TF toy released at retail for a LONG time. This is the best Cyclonus colour scheme yet (I own all 3 releases).

Hot Rod/Rodimus = Not a great toy in the first place IMO, but this colour scheme is much brighter, and fits with the cartoon type look of the set.

Galvatron = Actually a great improvement onver the dark colour scheme of the first release. Nice and bright and clean, although not very accurate. The toy sucks a bit though.

I bought the set for Cyclonus, and was happy to pay for him alone. The other 2 are a bonus, and I have yet to decide what to do with them. Hot Rod may combine with the Protector armour, I haven't decided yet. One or both Galvatrons may go the way of being resold.
I'll try and take some photos for you of the toys next to their other releases.

1 x armada bludgeon (for junking)

Glad you liked them, seemed to go down well over the weekend. No plans for those characters again, but a challenge of more Animated somewhere down the road - for sure! Building a little back log of commission work thanks to the AA exposure.
