C21media.et report that Entertainment Rights have picked up the international distribution rights for the third season of Transformers Animated.
Kids media group Entertainment Rights (ER) has secured distribution rights to
the latest 13 episodes of Transformers Animated, bringing the total number
available to 42.
The announcement follows Cartoon Network US's
commission of an additional 13 episodes of the toon for delivery in spring
2009.
The 13x22' episodes generated "a great deal of interest among
international buyers" at last week's Mipcom market, according to ER, and deals
have been secured in the UK, France, Italy and Mexico, as well as pan-regionally
within both Asia and Latin America.
The deals add to those for the
original series, which has to date reached more than 80 territories via
broadcasters including Mediaset (Italy), Turner Broadcasting (Australia, Latin
America and India), Jetix (Israel, Netherlands and Belgium), Network 10
(Australia), TV3 (New Zealand), Mediacorp TV12 (Singapore), TV Globo (Brazil),
Nickelodeon (UK), Gulli (France) and Super RTL (Germany).
ER holds
worldwide TV distribution rights for the show, excluding Japan and North
America, covering both free- and pay-TV.
The news may offer some comfort
to concern shareholders amid speculation ER - which is sitting on around £127m
(US$207.3m) in debt - is struggling to survive.
The company has said it
will reveal future options and strategies in its interim results next week,
after its shares fell to an all-time low earlier this week.

Mentioned a little while ago about my Flames of War stuff... 15mm WWII figs that you need to collect, assemble and paint. Said to Ghosty that I would post up pics of my painted stuff, so here goes!
Been looking for ages for something that was of Games Workshop quality, that had longevity, but didn't make me feel like I was supporting Al Qaeda. Flames of War is (relatively) cheap - lots of free army lists on their internet sight, and (unlike Workshop) there's no way they're going to re-write History, and make my armies wrong in 6 months time...
Sunstreaker:
Lets start off with some Armour...
I'm currently collecting both Wehrmacht and Waffen SS German forces (Next big purchase when I finish my Sperrverband will be Fallschirmjaeger... giving me access to Luftwaffe forces as well!) and both the Wehrmacht and Waffen used these bad boys in spades.

and here's a close up on one platoon. 2 Teams to a Squad, between 2 and 3 Squads to a platoon, plus command team.

Guys at the front are the Company Commander and his 2iC. Panzerknacker support option behind, along with three cars.
In the centre are three Sniper teams.

Cheers guys! Am very pleased with the series - obviously mainly just German stuff (I've got a few Yanks from the starter set I beefed up as well) but I'll see if I can't photograph Chris' Ruskies when we next play. Maybe get a few in game shots.
Still got a fair few to post up as well!
Sunstreaker:
More Waffen SS.

You could do us a battle report!
Sunstreaker:
Not a bad idea... except I always get beat by those damned Russians... I just can't kill em quick enough before they overrun me. Chris (my usual opponent) and I had a chinwag about it and have had a bit of an epiphany regarding use of scenary... we've been playing on a nice open 40K style battlefield... and without something blocking line of sight my highly manueverable Waffen and my very high point cost Armour can't actually move anywhere without getting shot to pieces by a million Soviet smallarms...
Have a fair bit more to post up (all of my Normandy stuff!) but will do that later...
