Saw Hancock finally the other week, people here are still going nuts over The Dark Knight so getting in for that is going to take awhile. I think the last movie i saw at the cinema before Hancock was Outpost. That was not a bad movie either, worth a look when its available on DVD folks!
Dark Knight... very very good film just feels very episodic, just like it was, I don't know, a comic book series... and the Bat voice... eeh?
I saw that last week too. Didn't think much of it though. The latest film I saw was Vantage Point with Dennis Quaid, which I'd recommend.
Vantage Point was pretty good, an interesting style of film.
The Dark Knight which was too long to be the 5* film everyone makes out.
dark night which actually felt like a long film, normally the 2hour + films dont feel long unless my bum goes numb which it did in that one and there keeping it spoiler free it seemed to have the same basic structure as another comic book adaptation that felt long
Batman for the second time. The film really dragged on second viewing. feels like it should have stopped at the creation of Two face and continued from there in a sequal.
I saw Hancock about 2 weeks ago thought it was good until the whole made for each other crap, could of been a lot better, more drunkeness would of been great. Dark night was fantastic. Two face was great, Bats was good, but voice was a little to Gruff, Joker was the fantastic loved the different origin stories he came up with. No real spoliers there. Also saw the Watchmen tralier on the big screen. One word WOW can't wait for this movie, if by some chance its not as good as the book then someone needs to be shot! Also wanna see WallE Hob.
the dark knight. but sonny said i cant moan ;) :P
dark knight, but alas I will hopefully see Pineapple Express soon...toodle chip
cant wait to see the pineapple unfortunately i got to wait till 12th september grrrrrrrrrr
Just saw Wall-e... if you haven't seen it go. It's hilarious and beautifully animated, a real quality film. Just try to skip all the negative subplots of monopolisation and over relience on technology (irony  ) and you'll have a blast.
The Dark Knight. Best movie of the year, no competition. Amazing.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - asides from a dodgy remix of the theme tune at the start and a lame Senator Padme bit this was an enjoyable popcorn fest. Simple plot, and about an hr's straight action in the middle which if done live action would've taken YEARS to make. The art style isn't for everyone and some characters work better than others but thankfully they didn't re-use the same animation over and over again like the tv series from a few years back. For a Star Wars film this was amazingly empty in the cinema though. A real shame as I enjoyed it more than the first 2 films of the new trilogy.
Watched both parts of Grindhouse - Planet Terror and Deathproof, and both films were great! Prefered Planet Terror... for obvious zombie based reasons...
Finally watched Batman Begins last night(so now I can see the Dark Knight). The film was excellent, but they spoiled it in a few places. They went to a lot of trouble to (kinda) make it seem as realistic as posinle, so the viewer would gave a sense of "I could do that", then they ruin it by having Batman call in a horde of bats to Arkham asylum as "back-up". How as he supposed to have done that exactly?! The bit where he pulls the ba cop up on a wire and talks to him whilst he's upside down is a bit over-cooked too - his bat-voice was too hammy and what was with the "Mr Angry" face?! Lastly, whilst it was just a bit-part, I was disappointed that Zsasz was just a dude. He totally should have been covered in scars of 4 lines with one through the middle (like a score, can't remember the correct word). Anyway, despite all that, it was well done and thoroughly enjoyable despite the fact they where silly enough to cast Michael Caine (who only has one character - Michael Caine), and I was most leasantly surprised by the use of teh Scarecrow- easily my favourite bat-villain.
The Prestige, very good if a little.... crap at the end....
had to watch the first hellboy first to understand but hellboy 2 the golden army was awesome
I think it was Clone Wars though I've seen the end of Disaster Movie, that comonly happens in my job that I end up seeing the end of films because of having to clean the mess up when everybody has left the screen
was clone wars good? i never saw it
was clone wars good? i never saw it I liked it though it won't be to everybodies taste even some Star wars fans
Last film I saw was Tropic Thunder, before that Pineapple Express, before that Step Brothers. So a bit of a comedy season. I enjoyed all of them, the last two more than I thought I would, especially Pineapple Express
I didn't go and see Tropic Thunder, Tropic Thunder saw me!
I saw Disaster Movie yesterday, really enjoyed it, much better than Meet The Spartans, I'm not going to see Tropic Thunder because of what I read about it and how it uses the word "retard" to describe certain type of people
