Roll Out Roll Call 2012 guest Jim Sorenson has recently updated his blog The Diciples of Boltax with an explantion of the Cybertronian Optical Code, a language he made up for the Allspark Almanac
Thanks to the tireless Chris McFeely, his Annotated AllSpark Almanac Addendum is now updated! Boy, that's a lotta alliteration!
http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/digipedia/annotated_addendum.html
The exciting bit for me is that he cracked my C.O.C., a new cipher I made up just for him, more or less. Didn't figure out that clue, eh? Cybertronian Optical Code, from the episode Decepticon Air! I figured I'd make it not too tricky, so it's a simple variation on Morse code, with circles for dots and half-circles for dashes. To make it slightly harder, I rotated the half-circles around at random, but the orientation is meaningless except to separate upper from lowercase letters.
If anyone is interested, you can download Cybertronian Optical Code here.

Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with a new entry entitled "The Ark Addendum - Boeing 757 and The AllSpark Almanac returns". Here is Jim's description of the entry:
"Today's Addendum, and theme I'll explore for the next couple of weeks,
is the Airplane models from the third episode of Masterforce, Kidnapping!? The Targeted Jumbo Jet.
The Destron baddies captured airplane-loads of people to turn them into
the Destroids, a zombie-like force. Creepy stuff! This is the model
for Mont Port Air Flight 308."
Jim also blogs a little more on the return of the AllSpark Almanac and how its return came about.

The Transformers Collectors Club have tweeted out the following announcement
"NEWS TIME! This November- Timelines Issue 6 hits newsstands. This 48
page offering will feature 16 page of Allspark Almanac Addendum content"
What will this content consist of? Well since the last Allspark Almanac was printed we have had more Japanese exclusive recolours, Transformers Animated: The Cool and, of course, this years Botcon set with the comic that featured more characters from the Transformers series.
The Allspark Almanacs were created by the "most excellent" Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster so you know that these additional pages are going to be awesome and contain lots of in-jokes and hidden messages.

Not only content with updating his blog with his own material Jim Sorenson has posted a blog letting everyone know that his "esteemed colleague" and quite frankly all-round "awesome dude" (ask anyone that met the pair of them at Auto Assembly 2010) Bill Forster has updated his Deviant Art
gallery with yet more of his original artwork from The
AllSpark Almanac II. Here's the low-down from Jim on the updates that Bill posted
This time around, he's uploaded our Reverse-Pretender alter-egos, Octus and
Megadeath,
some heads from the Great War like Moonradar
and Gigatron
(a.k.a. RID Megatron, Animated style), some Maccadam's heads like
the adorable Clipper,
and more.
I think my favorite might be Skids.
While, obviously, it was movie-style Skids that inspired the design,
the idea that he'd be infested with brain parasites came from G1 Skids,
where he spent well over 100 UK issues in limbo after Galvatron
time-displaced him there. I thought it funny to include this element,
but with the much uglier RotF Skids.
Swing by, let Bill know what you think of his work!
