Hasbro have unveiled the first look at the Titans Returns Trypticon figure via their Instagram page

It has been announced that Cartoon Network (Germany) shall be airing Season 3 of Transformers Robots In Disguise (2015) next month (January 2017) airing at 6:40am on both Saturday and Sundays.

HASBRO LETS FANS SHAPE THE FUTURE OF THE TRANSFORMERS FRANCHISE WITH THE  “POWER OF THE PRIMES” FAN VOTE

The fans can decide which Transformers character will become the next leader of Cybertron!

PAWTUCKET, R.I., December 1, 2016 – Today Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS), announced the “Power of the Primes” fan vote, an upcoming event that will place the fate of Cybertron directly in the hands of Transformers fans around the globe. Beginning on January 23rd, 2017, fans will be able to visit Transformers.com to cast their vote to help determine which character will join the ranks of Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime and other Cybertronian legends. The fan-voted Prime will be featured in the Transformers Generations toy line and brand’s Prime Wars Trilogy storytelling in 2018.

The Prime serves as leader of Cybertron, wields the immense power of the Matrix of Leadership and holds the fate of the Transformers universe in their hands. This leader is usually chosen directly by the Matrix of Leadership, but the “Power of the Primes” fan vote will put the fans in command and give them the power to light the darkest hour and choose the bot to lead Cybertron into a historic new era.

Chaos: These powerful warlords will stop at nothing to become supreme leader of Cybertron, even if it means creating a chaotic world where only the strongest survive.

Order: These commanders vow to leave the Autobot and Decepticon factions in the past and unite Cybertron under a new order.

Four finalists will be chosen by the fans and revealed by Hasbro in late January. Fans can then have the final say by returning to Transformers.com to vote between February 1st and February 4th. The winning Prime will be officially unveiled during New York Toy Fair in February.

On 9th of october 2016 the german Transformers Fan Convention C.O.N.S. will return. For it’s eight iteration it will come to Viersen-Süchteln in 41749 at Kolpinghaus/Josefshaus on Ostring 33. Ben’s World of Transformers (or BWTF.com) have posted a photograph taken of a large billboard in New York City which is advertising the next Transformers film, Transformers: The Last Knight and features Optimus Prime facing up against either three "dragons" or a three-headed dragon, a Decepticon flag hoisted atop a space vessel of some kind. Whatever the case, it already looks like the cast of villains for Transformers 5 will be an interesting one.

Hasbro Brings Authentic Transformers Global Celebration to Chinese Fans

July 12, 2016, Shanghai – Today Hasbro Inc. officially announced that the 2016 TRANSFORMERS Cybertron Con will be presented to Chinese fans at the Shanghaimart Expo in Shanghai from July 29th to 31st. The convention will be the largest Transformers fan celebration ever held in China, offering attendees the chance to engage with the brand, experience some of the latest toys and consumer products, view exclusive previews of Transformers content and meet some of the most notable names associated with the franchise, including concept designers, illustrators, writers and voice actors.

From the earliest toy series launched by Takara, to Hasbro’s popular G1 TV series, through comics, video games and feature films, the Transformers brand has become deeply rooted in the hearts of fans around the world. The original animated series debuted on TV in the 1980s in China and has become a shared childhood memory for a generation. TRANSFORMERS Cybertron Con will take fans on a journey through the history of the Transformers franchise, exhibiting hundreds of the most iconic toys released between the brand’s launch in the early 1980s through some of the best-selling items available today.

The convention will also offer fans the chance to interact with a five-meter high Optimus Prime Statue and costumed characters of other notable Autobots and Decepticons which are customized for Shanghai Cybertron Con.

One of the biggest VIP guests at Cybertron Con will be Peter Cullen, the voice actor behind Optimus Prime. Peter has worked on the Transformers franchise for more than 30 years and has provided his talents to each of the blockbuster feature films inspired by the brand. He will host fan meeting panels on both days of the convention, with a limited 150 autograph opportunities each day for fans to buy.

Other notable attendees will include Walter Gatus (concept artist of Transformers: Prime), Josh Feldman (Development director of Hasbro’s TV and film division) and Takara Tomy designers Shogo Hasui and Yuki Hisashi from Takara Tomy, who are responsible for numerous well-known Transformers characters. The two designers will attend the autograph session for three days and attend the Q&A session at main stage on Saturday and Sunday.

TRANSFORMERS Cybertron Con will also feature appearances from Sara Pitre-Durocher，James Raiz and Alex Milne, who have each written for IDW’s Transformers comic series.

Fans in attendance can also take part in a fan works contest, in which Transformers-related works of illustration, coating and modeling are to be rated by special guests. Amateur competitors from China can bring extraordinary works with them. If you have some talent to offer, join the Fan Art Competition before July 15, 2016, and showcase your passion and imagination with the best of your works. Long time friend of the website Nic "Duckstar" Hughes tweeted out an image of the letter confirming that this year is the last official Botcon Transformers convention. This is the first official statement put out by Hasbro since their decision to expire Fun Publications license between October and December of last year.  Our sources within Hasbro tell us that plans are being made for future celebrations but that is is very much early days and that nothing is finalised.  

It remains to be seen as to whether Fun Publications decide to carry on running a non-official Botcon convention or whether they will simple leave the space rather than compete more directly with other unlicensed shows.

Hasbro and Xiaomi, a large electronic comany in China, have teamed up to create this Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 which transforms to Decepticon Soundwave.

“Xiaomi and Hasbro are collaborating for the first time crowdfunding a kickass robot model named Soundwave in China. Instead of a vehicle transforming into a robot, this time, it’s Mi Pad 2 that gets the Transformers treatment. How cool is that? 

R&D worked really hard to ensure that the color, details and feel are exactly the same as Mi Pad 2. They were challenged at turning such a slim 7mm tablet into a 3D robot, but they managed to do so with a 30-step folding assembly.”

Weibo user Starscream and AC Toys user Toys2016 have provided In-Hand Images and a Pictorial Review of the toy.

Xiomi Soundwave even comes with a transforming minion, Ratbat, and a transforming weapon and a shield which certainly adds a good value for the price tag of $20

Thanks to Nevermore who has reported findings of figures who were previously revealed via the RiID mobile game. Not to be out down Hasbro have updated their official Transformers site for Poland with new images for Mini-Cons Scorch Strike Jetstorm, Ransack, Glacius who are all part of the fourth wave of Robots in Disguise Mini-Cons.

Meanwhile thanks @TFYuki on Twitter, we have a fresh look at the Transformers Adventure release of Megatronus. Out now in Japan, Megatronus is sporting a premium deco compared to his US release counterpart. This is particularly evident with the extra paint used on the weapon and the vents on the knees and cannons. Hisashi Yuki on Twitter has also posted another image of the upcoming Unite Warriors version of Galvatronus.

 In other product news Big Bad Toy Storehave posted a new case breakdown for thhe Combiner Wars Deluxe Wave 6 / 2016 Wave 2 cases which show a change in the assortment so that both Hound and Trailbreaker are dropped from the case with Wheeljack and Smokescreen reduced to one per case. The remaining six slots in the case are taken up by the Combaticons – one each of Vortex and Blast Off, and two of Brawl and Swindle. This makes the full case break down as follows:

Hasbro will be presenting their 2016 investor update from ToyFair today at 8am EST (13:00 GMT) where they will reveal their plans for the next year including new products, new brands and shall give details on the 2016-2017 Transformers entertainment offerings including details of what came out of the Writers Room.

Hasbro have announced increased net revenues for the full-year of 2015 of 4% to $4.45 billion. Part of the growth was due to the success of the Star Wars property along with the Marvel and Jurassic World products with both over-performing when compared to their expected revenues.

Transformers revenues dropped by 1/3 which is blamed on an unfair comparison with 2014 as that was a movie tie-in year but still performed far better than was expected in a post movie year. Typcially Hasbro Inc see a 50% drop in revenue in the year directly after a movie release.

At the end of the call it was confirmed that further information regarding the upcoming entertainment releases for the Transformers brand shall be given out this Friday including details of the writers room.

The Star Wars movie tie-in products swapped US to international sales figures from around 54%-46% split in favour of US and Canada (pre -The Force Awakens product) to 46%-54% afterwards.

During the call, which is currently ongoing, Hasbro announced that they will be releasing several new internal brand (i.e not licensed) over the next couple of years.

Last Maximal has posted two images over on the Allspark which show that the recolour of Transformers Classics Optimus Prime that has recently popped up in some auctions is an upcoming release from Platinum Series two pack with a redeco of Voyager Classics Megatron!

The toys within the pack are redecos of the original Transformers Classics Voyager molds for the same characters. Optimus Prime retains his traditional red and blue deco, but uses clear blue panels on the arms and has a Autobot symbol stamped on his wind vane. The Megatron has a silver body, with red forearms and red-and-black legs, in robot form whilst the gun mode is mainly red to pass the requirements to make toy guns look like toys and not real guns.

The set is called “One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall” and much like the Platinum series Planet of Junk Clash set, is another special edition being made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Transformers: the Movie.
