Just a quick update on the Welcome to Transformers 2010 Unicrons which we have ordered in from Toy Hobby Market. As you may recall we have ordered 10 of the figures which are packed 2-per-case which we are then selling on to fellow fans and collectors obviously keeping one back for ourselves. Well the shipment recently arrived at our Japanese contact who will be sending the figures out to us shortly. There are still some of the figures available if anyone is interested for £120.
You can find an image of our order below.

The first is an image of the Tokyo Toy Show exclusives which are a repaint of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen NEST Mindwipe and Skystalker figures into Generation Two Dreadwind and Smokescreen along with a Transformers Animated exclusive white repaint of Prowl who is called Elite Guard Prowl. Prowl will cost 2,500 yen and Dreadwing / Smokescreen will be 5,500yen. The figures will be available at the TakaraTomy booth on the 17th and 18th July as well as having a limited number available on e-Hobby. Like other exclusives of a similar vein, the figures will be limited to a few thousand.
Next is an image of another "Welcome to Transformers 2010" figure that will be sold as a Toy Hobby Market exclusive. The figure is Primus and is a recolour of the Transformers Cybertron / Galaxy Force Primus figure. No word yet on whether the figure will be limited to 2010 pieces like Sleep Mode Convoy (who was also limited to 2 pieces per person) or whether he will be produced in higher quantities with an unlimited amount like the Unicron figure (both of these figures will be available in limited quantities from Transformers At The Moon so we may also offer the Primus figure as well). Primus is out in October and costs 9,450yen.

In a follow-up to the news we broke yesterday regarding the release of volume 1 of Transformers Animated on DVD in Japan, Paramount have now updated their website with more information including news that they will be holding a campaign to give away 1000 gold chrome Optimus Prime dexlue figures. Yes that's right a DVD Lucky Draw prize much like Black Fire Convoy. A gold deluxe Optimus Prime figure, as well as a gold Voyager were two of our predicted three lucky draw toys that TV Magazine will announce at the end of the year. This could still be the case as DVD figures have been re-used in subsequent campaigns in the past, though it does make the inclusion of the deluxe figure in a magazine competition less likely.
To qualify for the prize draw you need to send in 1 x barcode from a Transformers Animated Toy box (or 4 barcodes from EZ collection toys vol.3 and 4), 5x Sega cards and the token from Transformers Animated DVD.
