Nevermore has put together an interesting article on Starblight called From drawing board to store shelf: The development of a Transformers toy
... the first part of a multi-part article series in
which I (Nevermore) will attempt to explain the development process of a
Transformers toy. As my basis for this compilation, I use various
materials which have made their way into the fandom one way or another
over the years, for example via Japanese sourcebooks or BotCon
presentations. In addition, there are various details which have come up
from Q&A rounds with Hasbro at BotCon or as part of the
(discontinued) Q&A program for fan sites. In some instances, I also
use information gathered from conversations with (usually former) Hasbro
employees.
If this article interests you then make sure you come to Roll Out Roll Call 2012, as there are several panels on this type of content.

Nevermore has posted over on TFW2005.com regarding some German sightings of the tail-end part of the Transformers RPM line.
"Yeah, I guess not many here care about RPMs." posts Nevermove, "Still, from what I could gather, the last wave never came out in the
United States, but apparently in Asia. (Apparently they are coming out
in the USA in "Speed Stars" packaging instead.)
I found these ones at a German TRU
last week, and yesterday I also saw them at Real, a domestic supermarket
chain. These photos were taken at the Real store in Moers.
Also, is the Speed Stars Bumblebee Track Set new?
And while I'm at it, Real also has Hunt for the Decepticons Deluxe wave 2
(Axor, Rescue Ratchet, Tuner Skids)... for a discount price of 15
instead of 20 Euros (i.e. $21 USD instead of $28 USD)."
You can find the original post and images here on the TFW2005 boards.

Credit to Nevermore for his eagle-eye spot over at TFArchive, that the recently spotted Transformers Movie Legends single pack figures of Cliffjumper and Bonecrusher who are said to be on sale right now in Singapore appear to be on European card backing, meaning that these figures will probably start finding their way onto European shelves in the coming months.
Here within the UK, the Transformers Movie Legends line was the number 1 selling Action Figure for 2007, as we reported exclusively last week.
