Jim Sorenson has updated his blog, Disciples of Boltax, with another entry under The Ark Addendum. This weeks update, which was actually posted yesterday, was titled The Ark Addendum - More than Meets the Eye which continues Jim's focus on the very first episodes of The Transformers. The update contains some of the landscapes that, as Jim himselves states, "really help set the tone for the series to follow,
especially season one. Two broadened the artistic palate, and three
went in many fantastic and bizarre directions." Check them out by clicking the link at the beginning of this story

Also I'll be at my regular spot Table H9 in the small press area sharing my table with the amazing John Nevarez. Stop by and say hi, don't be shy, ask people around, I don't bite I believe John doesn't either, so you really have no excuse. I hope to see you there.

GeneralsJoes.com has posted an image from the licensing fair of a large display advertising the main characters from the shows that will air on Hasbro's TV channel The Hub later in the year. The image includes a good look at Bumblebee from Transformers Prime and Snake-eyes from the new look G.I-Joe cartoon.
Amazon have updated their product listing for the Transformers: Prime book from IDW that was mentioned a little while back with a breif synopsis which pretty much confirms that the series will be a prequel to the Transformers Movie showing Optimus Prime becoming the leader of the Autobots and leading his first campaigns..
"This all-new graphic novel adventure leads directly into the all new
Transformers: Prime animated series! In this epic first adventure,
battles across Cybertron have left Bumblebee and his fellow Autobots in
need of a new leader. But is there anyone who can step forward against
the threat of Megatron and the evil Decepticons?"

In a question and answer session with The
Intergalatic Highway, voice actor David Kaye announced that he was turned down for several roles in the upcoming
"Transformers: Prime" CGI series that will air on the Hasbro / Discovery channel called The Hub later this year (within the US).
Q: Has there ever been a role you didn’t get that you were really disappointed about?
A: Ya funny enough. ANYTHING in the new Transformer series. But hey I’ve had a great long run and it’s a new deal for the creators of the new show and it’s a clean slate but I have to admit I was sad to see it go. That’s show business folks There’ve been a couple of animated features too, also Star Wars and even the new Transformer films.
