We're back with the next episode in our series looking at missing and altered scenes from the Transformers Generation One cartoon series. 

This video primarily covers Episode 8 - S.O.S Dinobots and is taken from an unslugged tape of a recording where both Ken Samson and Casey Kasem were not present. However it starts with a single quote from a slugged tape of Fire in the Sky where you shall hear Starscream, voiced by Chris Latta, refer to Skyfire as Jetfire! Your ears are not deceiving you, the tape that we own is from a session that was recorded before Jetfire was renamed as Skyfire. We do not, at the time of this videos publication, own and unslugged audio from this episode and so we shall not be producing a dedicated video for that episode.

Our series looking at the missing and altered scenes from the Transformers Generation One cartoon series continues with Divide and Conquer. Once again Dan Gilvezan was missing from the recording session(s) that produced the unslugged tape that this audio has been transferred form and, as such, his dialogue was simply skipped. Compared to previous episodes there was less dialogue cut from this episode. Two more clips from Transformers Robots in Disguise have been posted onto You Tube.  Both show the pretty slick animation style, and decent writing .. just a shame the Decepeticons are animal-robot hybrids

With the reveals now over with at SDCC Hasbro Inc have, via their PR company, started to distribute official stock images of the "2015 Generations Line". The line which includes the Stunticons and Aerialbots will also see figures for Transformers Robots In Disguise as well as a Generation 1 coloured Age of Extinction Slog who will be an Amazon exclusive figure.

Hasbro have shared the preview video for their upcoming Transformers: Robots In Disguise series, which debuted at SDCC, over on their Facebook page.  The video shows the characters and animation style in flow which, as you would expect, is gaining mixed reactions from fans.

Transformers license holder, Vilsco Textiles have posted a collection of content which includes merchandise they are releasing for Transformers: Age of Extinction but also slides which are believed to be from the Australian Toy Fair which reveal Hasbro's plans to have two animated shows (one in 2015 and another in 2016) to fill the gap between the fourth and fifth live action Transformers movies.  What is also interesting is the faction logos used for each of those series which are new "beast like" faction logos.

UK Transformers dealer Kapow Toys has posted up the first listings for some exclusive toys in Japan, a combiner, in the series called Transformers Go! (The Japanese Release of Transformers Beast Hunters)

The first releases are

G03 Genoh Samurai - Fire Truck

Below you will find a new preview for this weeks Transformers Prime epsisode Patch.  This week also marks the 50th episode within the ongoing Transformers show.

Geek Cast Radio and posted an ionterview with Steven Melching, writer of several episodes of Transformers Prime and Beast Machines, the key points that came out of this area

Other points he raised include:

• We've not seen the last of SynthEn (introduced, and last seen, in the season 1 episode Stronger, Faster)
• Steven Melching wrote the season 2 finale, Darkest Hour, and will be writing five episodes of season 3. Marsha Griffin (Prime series story editor, writer of Legacy, Predatory and Transformers Animated Endgame Part 2 amongst others) will also be writing five episodes for season 3.
• Season 2 "will not end well" for the Autobots. Apparently the big question going into season 3 will be how they get out of the situation they find themselves in.
• Season 3 will have a complete new setting, and no status quo.
• Steven Melching would be okay with season 3 being the end of the series, because going into the series they knew how they wanted the series to end, and apparently that is how season 3 will end.
