IDW Publishing's Create A cover Competition has finally drawn to a close, with the overnight.
With 9 eligible covers to judge, the winner has been decided by a panel
of judges consisting of: E.J. Su, Josh Burcham, Chris Mowry, Eric
Holmes, Shaun Knowler & Josh van Reyk.
The conditions for the 3rd and final round were thus:
This is it, the be all and end all fight for total control over
CYBERTRON! Both OPTIMUS PRIME and MEGATRON play their trump cards, as
METROPLEX and TRYPTICON clash head to head in this epic battle. Who
will survive? And when all is done, where there be a CYBERTRON left to
rule?
This cover is to be a battle between the following Transformers;
AUTOBOTS:
Optimus Prime, Prowl, Jazz, Grimlock*, Ratchet, Blaster, Metroplex.
DECEPTICONS:
Megatron, Starscream*, Soundwave, Shockwave, Sixshot*, Ravage, Trypticon.
*Denotes character that can be featured in mode of your choice. All others should appear in their primary/robot mode.
This battle is set on CYBERTRON.

Paramount Pictures have updated
their website with details of the UK IMAX showings for Transformers.
"NEW Transformers IMAX Screenings!
Tranformers the movie is hitting the bigger screen at IMAX sites in
London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Bradford. The movie will
also feature brand new, exclusive footage. Contact your nearest iMAX
cinema to find out more."
We shall be running a competition, in association with Paramount Pictures UK, to win tickets to an IMAX screening on the 21st September. Details are being currently being finalised, but we hope to open the competition at some point tomorrow.

US websites ComingSoon.net and Superhero Hype have teamed together with Paramount Pictures to give away 50 pairs of
tickets to see Transformers in IMAX theatres in the United States (Similar to the competition we ran a few months ago). The grand prize winner will also receive additional Transformers Movie merchadise in the form of a Megatron toy, a hat, that Optimus Prime key chain and a BEEOTCH air freshener. Toshiba and Paramount Pictures UK have teamed up to offer one lucky
winner the opportunity to win a Helicopter Flying Lesson prize. The competition, part of the
Transform Your World promotions, is being run by Toshiba to promote their Satellite and Equium retail notebook ranges. Under the banner “
Transform your world with Toshiba". The competition website,

We're going to be announcing the winners of our current Transformers competition tomorrow. Originally we'd planned the announcement for today, but due to other things going on (outside of the internet), we've had to postpone it.
We've still not received the Top Trumps sets either, although they are due this week.

For those who are still not aware, tomorrow (Friday 27th July) is the official launch of the live action
Transformers movie here within the UK. Well the second round of advance previews for the film start today, and due to the popularity of the film already within the UK, remember we exclusively reported that it has already grossed in over $6 million dollars in last weekends two day previews, we urge you all to book tickets early to ensure you get a seat.

Just a quick update on our latest
Transformers Competition, where you can win a whole host of
Transformers goodies.
- We will be keeping the Competition open until the 20th July, as we're going to try to add even more prizes into the hat.
- The total value of the Transformers books comes to £42.96. We'll be putting reviews and a few previews of each of the books live on the site tonight (or tomorrow if we run out of time). The books are brand new, straight from Dorling Kindersley, and have not yet been released in the UK.

As a celebration of the live action Transformers Movie being released in Japan, Part One Ltd, who run the e-Hobby store, will be pulling
ten names from a hat (not literally) for anyone who orders (or has ordered) a Transformers Movie toy from their store between now and the 31st July 2007. The winners will then be given a free Transformer toy. The prizes (and their quantities) are

We're pleased to announce another Paramount Pictures competition, this time to join us and 42 other quests at a limited Press Conference that will take place within the virtual world of Second Life on Friday 22nd June 2007 at 4:30pm. The press conference will be hosted by Transformers Movie director Michael Bay and will have some of the world press in attendance. Two panels will take place, the first with Michael Bay and Lorenzo diBonvnetura, and the second with Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Rachael Taylor and Tyrese Gibson. The event will be streamed LIVE across the web by The Sun. As mentioned before, we have been invited so we hope to see you there. As well as the press conference, Paramount Pictures will opening Sector 7 to the 7 million residents of Second Life.

In anticipation of the worldwide release of TRANSFORMERS, Paramount Pictures International will be launching "Sector 7", an immersive 3-D experience within the fast-growing online community known as Second Life.
A live Q&A with the film's director, Michael Bay, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and the cast from TRANSFORMERS will launch the experience to an invited global audience of press and fans.
In a world-first for an event of this profile, the Q&A will also be broadcast live as a video stream available for anybody to view both within Second Life and on the web in the UK at www.thesun.co.uk

As we reported yesterday, their is a competition on
Michael Bay's blog to win a Transformers Press kit, well since the last reported updated the full details of the competition have been made available over on MichaelBays blog. To enter you need simply to answer two questions. The competition is open to residents of the following countries:
