Botcon have revealed their 2nd 2012 exclusive figure as the evil Tracks. We predicted the figure uses the Transformers Universe Tracks mold but is recoloured red like Road Rage, the E-Hobby exclusive figure. Tracks is from the Shattered Glass universe which is why he is an evil Autobot
Do not be surprised if you find a black version is also released as an additional toy at some stage. You can view the images below.
Fub Publications have sent out the following email notifications to all Botcon attendees as well as Club Members
ÂTo all BotCon attendees who are holding current reservations:Â There was a glitch in the hotel's reservation system as it was supposed to be taking one night's deposit when your made your reservation. Â
Per our contract with the hotel, they need to take this deposit by charging everyone's credit card for the first night's room and tax.
In order not to impact anyone's Christmas shopping, I have asked them to hold off making the charge until January 3, 2012. Â
In addition, this deposit will be refundable until April 9, 2012. If you cancel after April 9, 2012 your deposit will NOT be refunded. Â
If you are holding any rooms "in case someone needs them" we ask you to either turn the reservation over to another party, or to release them by January 2, 2012, as we still have other attendees who need to make room reservations. Again, all rooms being held will have a one night's deposit charged on January 3, 2012.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Thanks for your support,
Brian

All The Cool Stuff have sent out the following announcement regarding the announcement of two new guest for Roll Out Roll Call 2012.
If you do not know what Roll Out Roll Call is then allow me to
explain. The event if a two day convention taking place in March in
Southampton here within the United Kingdom. The show is dedicated to
Action Force, G.I-Joe and Transformers. Next year will be the third
show for this growing event and we encourage everyone who is a fan of
one of these lines to drop by as it's going to be a blast as well as a
great chance to catch up with some fellow fans at the end of the Winter.
Back to the news, here is a copy of the announcement
"Since
announcing Larry Hama's attendance, there's a lot of excitement and
interest in Roll Out Roll Call 2012, the UK Transformers, GI-Joe &
Action Force show. Want to know next 2 guests for
Roll Out Roll Call 2012? Checkout & listen to Episode 25 of "What's
on JOE Mind" for the exclusive new guest announcements: http://whatsonjoemind.podbean.com
There
will be more exclusive announcements over the next few weeks, so stay
tuned or follow the show on Twitter @rolloutrollcall."
Transformers At The Moon will be in attendance at the event, as we are fans of both of these lines, and we are also please to announce that we are also sponsoring the event next year to try to help it grow.
If you come along to Auto Assembly every August you no doubt feel that a year is too long to meet-up with your Transformers friends, sure there is the odd meet-up arrange but most of us can't make them or justify the trips, but with Roll Out Roll Call there is a lot more going on to justify the journey. You will have the social aspect, the dealers, panels, the cosplayer and, of course, the guests. The events are almost 6 months apart giving everyone the best possible chance to make both events and help unite and strength the bonds of the fan communities for both these iconic lines.
I encourage you to keep you eye on the show, the official twitter account, Transformers At The Moon, Blood For The Baron, What's on Joe Mind, Full Metal Hero and The Nerdsphere for more announcements as the event gets closer.

I thought I would bring you a random Saturday afternoon update since its a warm day here in London and I've been chilling out after a 17 hour grind in the office yes terday. As such I have uploaded only our 4th video to our YouTube  account Âwhich consists of a random montage of footage we recorded from the dealer room at Botcon 2011. The footage is available in HD format down and is the the second video we have uploaded to YouTube from our library of convention footage that we have recorded over the past ten years. At somepoint we hope to share all of thhe videos with you which include videos from Japanese Winter Wonderfests, Botcons, Auto Assembly, Transforce as well as other conventions. We must have something like 40 or 50 hours worth of convention footage that we have never made public before but always planned to release when we found time. Anyway, you can find the video footage below.
A Taobao auction has bought the world the first images of what appears to be a Botcon Exclusive Scorch toy. The figure is a recolour Universe Hound based on the G1/G2 figure Scorch who was released in both Europe anÂd Japan originally. you can see our galley of the original figure here, and can compare it to the auction here.
Auto Assembly 2010 News Update Episode 5 Released...
Even though an incredible amount of information has already been announced
about Auto Assembly 2010, Europe's largest Transformers convention, we are not
resting on our laurels and we are back with another announcement to keep all our
attendees up-to-date on all the latest developments with the convention and to
hopefully persuade some of you who are still undecided about what con to attend
this SummeÂr...
In this week's show, we have details of the latest news on dealers tables
at the convention, ticket sales, our new Costume Competition, and much more
besides! If you want to know the full details, you'll just have to watch the
video and find out for yourselves!
Spanning the weekend of Friday 13th - Sunday 15th August 2010 at the The
Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre, Birmingham, England, the convention is
playing host to a staggering 11 guests including three guests of honour (Garry
Chalk, Scott McNeill and Derrick J Wyatt), and will feature toy and art
displays, dealers, comic guests, free autograph sessions, a video games area,
free workshops run by many of our guests, dedicated childrens programming, video
screenings and so much more to be announced! There will also be Friday and
Saturday evening programmes, exclusive for weekend attendees and the Saturday
evening will play host to a party, a concert by rock band Next Of Kin (including
a Transformers themed set with music from the 1986 animated movie!), costume
competition, our voice actors will take to the stage to perform a BRAND NEW
script written by Simon Furman and we still have a few more surprises in
store...!
Because of the venue size, we are restricting attendance to a MAXIMUM of
550 people at the convention per day which can be made up of a combination of
weekend and one-day attendees and once we hit that total we will be closing
registrations so if you want to attend Europe's largest Transformers convention,
you need to hurry and get your tickets now as we have already had over 325
pre-registrants so tickets are likely to be a complete sell-out!
Despite our running costs increasing for this year, we have frozen ticket
prices from Auto Assembly 2009 and they are £45 for adults and £35 for children,
students and senior citizens, with under 5s admitted free. Family tickets (2
adults and 2 children) are available for £145. Single day passes are available
at reduced rates but these are VERY limited.
For more details on the convention, to see a full list of all the guests
and activities taking place over the weekend, or to book your tickets, visit the
website at www.autoassembly.org.uk
ACToys.net have posted an image of an incomplete toy which they report to be a Botcon 2010 Rapido figure. You can compare the rumoured Botcon figure with the actual G2 release contained within our toy image gallery. Â
The Botcon website has under-gone a Generation 2 style facelift over night with a new theme including a poster image showing a Clench to be a recolour of Transformers Universe Onslaught but with a new head.
After their update of Streetwise was leaked (that's what happens when you give images a uniform name on websites), the BotCon team decided to play a joke on anyone scrapping for Clench by uploading poorly digitally doctored images of Universe Tankor recoloured as Clench which fooled several US based sites. For those wanting to see the spoofed images you can find them here and here.
Botcon.com has been updated with images of another exclusive from this years set, Generation Two Streetwise. You can view the robot mode and alt mode images on their website. Then whoy not compare him to the original Generation Two Streetwise by using our very own gallery of the unreleased figure.
Auto Assembly 2009 is now just two weeks to go and is already Europe's biggest ever Transformers convention with almost 450 people pre-registered to-date, beating the previous European attendance record of 423 set by Auto Assembly 2008 and we're still getting bookings coming in all the time... We are now convinced that we will hit the magical figure of 500 attendees that European events have wanted to reach for so long...
Booking Deadlines Updated
Even though the convention is incredibly close now, there is STILL time for you to pre-register! As we have said, the cut-off dates for pre-registrations were set a few weeks ago and are:-
Standard online bookings for weekend and one-day passes (UK):- 10th August 2009
Standard online bookings for weekend and one-day passes (International):- 3rd August 2009
Standard postal bookings for weekend and one-day passes (UK):- 5th August 2009
Standard postal bookings for weekend and one-day passes (International):- 3rd August 2009
Non-Attendee package purchases (worldwide):- 9:00 pm, 12th August 2009
So obviously for those of you living outside of the UK you need to get your bookings in VERY QUICKLY. However, for those of you who are booking for the FULL WEEKEND ONLY, we can offer you the chance to collect your passes on the Friday evening and we will send out your info packs and confirmation details electronically. This will ONLY apply to weekend pre-registrants and you must email us at the same time as booking to take advantage of this and colection of passes MUST be made on Friday 14th August. Bookings made for collection can only be taken online and must be made by no later than 9:00 pm on 12th August 2009 to allow us to produce your passes ready for collection.
Please note that these are the ABSOLUTE latest date that we can accept bookings and guarantee that your passes will reach you in time for the convention. If you book after these dates, we will do everything possible to get your passes to you before the convention takes place but please bear in mind the time taken for delivery and that we will have work pressures and we will be preparing, dismantling and packing all of our equipment for the convention on Wednesday 12th August so NO bookings will be able to be processed after 9:00 pm on that date.
We do anticipate that we will have on-the-door places available but at the moment we do not know how many of these there will be and tickets are selling very quickly at the moment. These will be announced on the website once pre-bookings close but to ensure your place pre-registration is recommended.
Hasbro Make A Return!
Yes, Hasbro are returning to Auto Assembly! Once again there will be a display from Hasbro and this time they will be sending a display along to the convention showcasing the 2009 toy range with twice as much space as they had last year! Once again, they will also be donating a huge amount of toys to the Charity Auction and Raffle...
Next Of Kins Performs Auto Assembly Official Theme Song
If you haven't read it on the website, Auto Assembly 2009 now has it's own official theme song for the convention. Written and performed by Next Of Kin who are appearing in concert at the convention on the Saturday evening doing a show of covers from the Animated movie, their song "Transform" has been chosen as the convention anthem for 2009. "Transform" was originally submitted to Paramount for inclusion in the soundtrack for Revenge Of The Fallen. To take a listen to the song, watch a music video they put together here:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RuB-E1ofKQ
Copies of the song will be available to buy at the convention on CD.
More convention updates very soon... For full details on Auto Assembly 2009 and to book your tickets, visit the website at www.autoassembly.org.uk
