In a post over on his message board, Michael Bay has posted a comment related to the Middle East filming of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as well Transformers: The Ride
"The shooting in the the Middle East is ground breaking - an awesome time had by all the crew.
The Transformer Ride at Universal making all the press rounds - not
sure yet - they had me in a press release saying I supported it - but
Universal has a long way to go in my mind. I don't support it - I'm not
involved and not sure the story of the ride works, and I know Optimus
is not going to just show up to be directed by some new people that
have never worked with him. I hate when people bullshit a quote from me
that I never said.
I'll keep you informed. Maybe the guy making the rides at Universal will direct Transformers 3????
Bay"

In addition to uploading the cover of all the comics so far released, in what is the second longest running UK Transformers comic series, we have also created a new gallery for Issue 17. This gallery contains images from all three stories in the comic. If you've not picked up the latest Titan Magazine Transformers comic then we certainly recomend it. First up some images were posted on Flickr from the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AKA The Boneyard). This was then followed up by an anonymous post made to Seibertron.com which also included some images of the Chevy Volt and Sideswipe.
Shortly after Jalopnik posted some imags which appear to confirm that the Chevy Beat will be Skids. How does it confirm this, you may ask, well the pictures include a number plate on the back of the car with Skids on the back. Of course, this could still turn out to be a ruse, with the name being digitally removed in post-production.
Finally the Coronado CA city website posted some inforoamtion saying that some scenes were shot there today involving pyrotechnic.
"The San Diego Film Commission and Naval Base Coronado are working with
DreamWorks Productions for a day of filming on Naval Base Coronado. They will be
filming an action sequence near the bunker at the south end of Naval Base
Coronado approximately a mile north of the Imperial Beach city limits. The work
will take place from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, October 9 and will include
gunfire and small explosive visual effects. It is planned that the gunfire and
pyrotechnics will take place between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. There will be production
trucks and trailers, generators and lighting equipment used on site. The Film
Commission, the Navy and the production company acknowledge that the filming may
create a disruption and have indicated they will do their best to keep the
disturbance to a minimum. The location manager Marc Meeks and San Diego Film
Commission representative Kathy McCurdy will be onsite during the entire
project."

Simon Furman has updated his blog with an article regarding the latest issue of the UK exclusive Transformers comic from Titan Magazines. The comic is officially released today though those who subscribe online may have already received their copies. Here are some quotes.
"More Transformers goodness hits this week in the shape of Transformers (UK) comic/magazine #17, a packed, oversized issue featuring not but two new/UK-exclusive Transformers stories!" The first of these is set firmly
in the new movie-verse, or at least the alternate one established by
events in the epic ‘Twilight’s Last Gleaming.’ Get ready now for an
all-new multi-part epic in the shape of ‘Return to Cybertron,’ a
positively world-shattering tale that takes the Autobots back to their
homeworld (not the nicest of places to be currently) and into one of
their biggest and most fraught battles. Featuring a whole host of new characters
making their strip debut, at least this side of the Atlantic, ‘Return
to Cybertron pt1’ is simply not to be missed. Story is by me, art by
Jon Davis-Hunt
The second strip is a a bonus 5-page Transformers Animated story, featuring the
Dinobots and is also written by Simon Furman.

The following news is best taken with a bag of salt and should be considered a rumour. TFW2005.com are reporting that their Transformers Revenge of the Fallen "insider" has told them of the vehicles that will combine to form Devastator in the Transformers sequel. The vehicles are:
O&K/Terex RH400 - Hydrolic Mining Excavator - (red)
Caterpillar 992G - Wheel Loader - (yellow)
Caterpillar 773B - Dump Truck - (green)
Mack Cement Mixer - (silver/white)
Komatsu HD465-7 - Articulated Dump Truck - (red)
Kobelco CK2500 - Truss Crane - (yellow)
Caterpillar D9L - Bulldozer - (beige)
Though TFW2005 do have connections to Hasbro, with members of the Hasbro team reportedly posting on their message board, and Roberto Orci posts on their, it is also possble that they are working independantly or with Paramount Pictures to create false rumours and/or are receiving false information via a deliberate "leak" to try to keep the hype going surrounding the film.
Again, no further information onn their source has been released.

Transformers Live Action Movie Blog
has been updated with a few images from the White Sands set. It reveals that the White
Sands is meant to be Egypt (though reported as Jordan), and that the core cast was there filming a
fight scene similar to the desert battle from the first movie.
Many
extras were on set, with some dressed up as soldiers and
others as a strike force. Rumor has it that Sam's parents (actors Julie
White and Kevin Dunn) were present, and a future film location may be
in Ruidoso, a location in the mountains surrounded by forest, about 30
minutes from Alamogordo.

TMZ.com are reporting that A special effects technician received second and third degree burns on his right
hand and upper right thigh, while attempting to add fuel to a special effect
fire on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Apparently the technician grabbed the wrong container -- one containing
gasoline instead of the diesel fuel -- and the on-set medics and ambulance
responded, taking him to the hospital for treatment. For those wondering, the stars from the movie were, reportedly, on set at the time of the accident.
Credit to Seibertron.com for the spot.

IESB.net recently interviewed Transformers Movie Producer
Lorenzo di Bonaventura during the premiere of Eagle Eye, which stars Transformers leading-man Shia LaBeouf and is directed by Steven Spielberg
.
During the interview Lorenzo says that there will be
three times as many robots on both sides as during the first Transformers Movie. Lorenzo states that he can not promise
that Cybertron will be featured within the movie, but that fans will be happy that many things that could not make it into the first film will be present in the second. Finally, the producer also mentions that Paramount Pictures are pushing for
trailers of both
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and
G.I-Joe to be released in the US by the holiday season. He did,
however, mention that is will depend on whether the special effects for the trailers can be
done in time.

TFW2005 have reported that the character The Fallen will indeed be in the second Transformers filme, titled Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. This is the third rumour from their un-named source, and due to the close ties between TFW and Hasbro many fans are taking the information as facts.
One other possible explaination is that TFW are working alongside Paramount as part of their mis-information campaign (which hasn't previously worked due to fan sites leaking on-set images, video and information). Could it be that the Devastator and Fallen information are just mis-information, or are they true. We suggest you make up your own minds.
