Japan based fans will be pleased to hear that even though the deadline for ordering an e-Hobby exclusive Masterpiece Convoy Black Version, Part One Ltd have re-opened orders with a special reservation of 50 extra pieces that can be pre-ordered. The new reservation will end at 6pm this Friday in Japan.

TakaraTomy have updated their website over night with the update being to the Transformers: Revenge (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) line-up which include entries for Devastator and Ejector. Simply click the link at the start of this article to jump to the line-up page, then choose a faction.

ACToys.net have published some images of the upcoming WalMart exclusive Masterpiece Skywarp toy that will be released within the US. The figure is slightly recoloured from the Japanese Masterpiece Skywarp toy. For those who can not wait for the figure, you can already find a listing for the figure

The October issue of Hobby Japan has been released which celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the magazine. The magazine features half a page of Transformers: Revenge figures which you can find in a gallery on
Lucky Draw Transformers.com.
LuckyDrawTransformers.com contains an
Japanese Hobby Magazine resource area which contains a list of which Japanese Hobby Magazines feature which Lucky Draw figures.

TakaraTomy have posted an interview
on their website with Japanese Transformers designer Hisashi Yuki. Yuki-san's Transformers credits include Beast Wars II Lio Convoy, Beast Wars Neo Big Convoy, Beast Wars Neo Unicron and the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen characters The Fallen, Scalpel (The Doctor) and Sideways.

Thanks to Yokubarion we have created a new image gallery containing 149 photographs which he took from the Chara-Hobby event in Japan. The images included items that were on display from Bandai, TakaraTomy and other manufacturers. The images are grouped by the companies displaying them, so you will find all of the Takara Tomy images at the bottom of the gallery.
The images help to show that the strange combiners within the case with the reissued Combaticons appear to be original concept pieces from the design phase of the first combiners which have been previously shown as concept art within the Generations books.

In a follow-up to our story "Transformers Top Toy Property With UK In July," we can now bring you more information regarding the performance of the Transformers brand for that month.
According to NPD figures the Transformers range sold £2.6 million at retail within the UK for the month of July, giving it a 33% share of the entire action figure market. In fact, 12 out of the top 20 best selling new items for the month of July were from the Transformers range!

TFW2005.com board member DEATH OF PRIME has reported finding the Transformers Universe Two packs in ASDA. The toys are Air Raid and Storm Surge in the "War of the Waves" pack and Clocker and Hardtop in "The Data War" .

Snakas has updated his blog with some information on this months Figure King magazine. Here is a quick round-up and translation.
Some more Transformers Revenge (Revenge of the Fallen) figures are shown that will be released within Japan in October. The figures include Human Alliance Bumblebee and Sideswipe.
Images are shown of Bumblebee and Cliffujumper Alternity figures as well as the "Diamond Black" Megatron toy.
Transformers: Disney Label Halloween Mickey Mouse is shown off once again.
There are images published of the upcoming Masterpiece Convoy black version (MP-01B).
finally the eighth "25 years of the Transformers" article is published covering the development of Beast Wars.

For those who wanted but couldn't afford one or those who fancy a bargain big toy...
Roll-Out Command Optimus Prime from the Animated range of toys is now to be found in Tescos who still carry left over stock priced at only £14.45! I spotted and claimed mine last thing Wednesday night from Burseldon store in Southampton. Last one on the shelf though, sorry guys, so keep 'em peeled elsewhere.
