New Transformers trademark application from Hasbro Inc and one expires

Hasbro have finally applied for a new trademark with the USPTO and you'd be forgiven for not noticing. The application, which was sent to the USPTO back on the 21st June, was for the mark TRANSFORMERS but written in the movie style font and all across one line. You can view the mark, that is the image as well as all of the information, in our Transformers Trademarks area.

In related news the 1986 Hasbro trademark for Ultra Magnus has now been cancelled by the USPTO. Hasbro have never refiled for this mark, so it will be interesting to see if they file for a further 10 year extension, submit a new application or simply leave the mark.
