Following up on our recent news reports from the 2007 Chara Hobby event in Japan, Snakas has updated his website with more images and information on the event. The new information includes word that the CMS Dia Atlas figure (previously a Wonderfest exclusive) was also on sale at the event, more information on Sky Lynx and a little more on thhe book that was next to the Movie Optimus Prime concept. The concept figure of Movie Optimus Prime was next to the Transformers Movie Ultimate Guide book which will be coming out in Japan. The book includes information and images on the production of both the film and the toys. Many of the images shown in the book were seen by Transformers fans at BotCon 2007 who attended the Hasbro tours. Snakas reports that TakaraTomy are currently looking in to re-releasing Sky Lynx (though technially this would not be a re-release in Japan as the figure was not released their back in 1986). He confirms that there is no scheduled release date or price point for this item, and we expect that TakaraTomy are simply trying to gauge interest in this figure.
