In the new interview with Billy, set to air on Monday on Access Hollywood, Shia said the injury to his hand was worse than originally reported. “They’re good,” he told Billy of his bandaged fingers. “They’re broken.” Following
the crash and surgery, Shia returned to the set of “Transformers:
Revenge of the Fallen,” directed by Michael Bay. And the actor said
very little of the production was interrupted due to his accident. “He
plows through,” Shia said of his director. “I think we had a day down,
two days down, and then we got back to some second unit stuff that we
had to get anyways, and I was back two or three weeks before anybody
projected me coming back.”
