..and here's the first few waves having escaped their plastic prisons!
First couple waves of the Comic 2-packs.
Of these three packs, the only decent paint app was on the Hawk...
These were better - Great Breaker, Torch and Ripper... but the Destro was awful
GAH! MINE EYES!
Sunstreaker:
The Yellow on CC looks like it's been applied with a thumb...
The 1982 Wave 1 Joes.
The 1983 Wave 2 Joes.
1984+ Joes...
DREADNOKS! I had a real love of Zartan and his boys as a nipper, which I don't think ever really went away...
Have noticed that I've uploaded far to many pictures of the Dreadnoks...
Sunstreaker:
Clan Arashikage represent! A Red Ninja, the Young Master, and the Faceless Master...
The early days of Troop building... It gets bigger...
Valor vs Venom paint app StormShadow and Cobra Commander.
M.A.R.S industries represent! Both Silver-face and Iron Grenadier Destro's, with the Baroness supporting her man...
Plate-Face and Rag-Face Cobra Commander, with the updated Serpentor.
Sunstreaker:
VIPERS! I love to Troop build...
A couple of the Target exclusive Hi.S.S. Tanks. Crewed by some bizarre mash-up of Cobra Night Troopers, and Stinger Drivers... No idea why...
Carded Wave!
Another Carded Wave!
I can't remember which ones...
Sunstreaker:
Third comic pack wave. These were particularly nice. Tons of equipment in all three packs.
BUILDERS! Carded...
Close up on the 25th B.A.T...
...and a close up on the Snow Serpent. I love the Arctic Cobra, and built these considerably. The B.A.T.s however proved far more elusive to hunt down...
Cobra Forces starting to take shape...
Sunstreaker:
Here are some work in progress shots of my Cobra Horde... It does get bigger... Some nice close ups of the Command figures as well.
Sunstreaker:
A close up on my Blues...
More carded builders! Extra Vipers (You can never have enough...) and the Python Patrol Officer. They never produced a Trooper...
DREADNOKS!
I do have a soft spot for my Blues...
Trouble Bubbles and Tele-Vipers!
Oh... and R.A.M.s and Breaker... but who really cares about them...
Sunstreaker:
COBRA AIRFORCE? ...actually these are Infantry Support... F.A.N.G.s, Trouble Bubbles, and C.L.A.W.s!
M.A.S.S. Device and Weather Dominator! I do have the final part of the M.A.S.S... but it took ages to find - It came with the '80's Best of DVD and figure pack... which was heavily under-produced...
COBRA AIRFORCE! Firebats, Cobra Air-Troopers, Cobra Air Troopers with J.U.M.P packs, and A.V.A.C's!
Carded Mail-Away Doc! Lovely figure...
Sunstreaker:
Chase variant Black-Helmet Destro and Iron Grenadier Comic Pack!
Boxed Vehicles.
SDCC Carded Cobra Commander for President figure.
DVD packs... good for the Dusty and the Quick... And I suppose the corrected 1980's Serpentor...
F.A.N.G and C.L.A.W, along with A.W.E. in desert colours with desert Leatherneck... stoopid colours...

Sunstreaker:

Carded Wave. Was waiting for a Rock-N-Roll. This one is gorgeous!
Sunstreaker:
Close-ups on the Comic Pack Waves. Great to get the Crimson Twins.
And the Joe Vehicles!
Will upload more and comment in a while!
Starscreams_Ghost:
I suppose now my stuff is all cabineted (is that a word?) up I should post mine
awesome looking collection though Johnny boy
wish I had the space/cash to troop build the vehicles how you have too
minion:
Good stuff Streaky. Troop building is awesome.
I haven't troop builded since the Beast Machines days. I'm hoping to get some units going with the forthcoming Masters of the Universe Classics troop builders 2 packs. They're expensive so they won't be huge groups, but 4-6 Palace Guards for Teela to Captain, and then a whole bunch of Horde Troopers (when they get released) will be awesome.
...and yes, SSG, you should get your troop photos up too.
Sunstreaker:
Cheers guys!
Most of the Photo's are really old... pre-ROC fro the most part. Everything's pretty much in the Man-Cave now.
Am planning on having a loft conversion - Wales is too far to go to play with my toys... Here in the 'Ssex, once that's done I'll be able to get some diorama's set up.
Who knows? I might even actually photograph the Joes instead of just focussing on Cobra...
Sunstreaker:
More photo's, I'm uploading as I go...
Black Cobra HiSS with Blue Driver. Have a fair few of these. What I'm planning to do is order a load of blank numbers from and get them numbered up properly. I bloomin' love tank numbers... What's even better is that Cobra seem to use the Old WWII German numbering system!
Steeler vs Serpentor - Armadillo and Air Chariot. The Steeler is 'so-so' and the Serpentor is horrible... but the Air Chariot is re-tooled and the Armadillo is gorgeous!
Another army shot. Tried to get in as much of the Airforce as I could.
Sunstreaker:
Continuing to pan around my Cobra army (These photo's are quite old and It's a fair size bigger now... just not had the chance to spread everything out in ages!)
And again, note Montezuma's skeleton wrapped in the foliage at the back on the far right!
DVD Serpentor from 'Arise Serpentor, Arise!' which is the best variant in my opinion, alongside the Air Chariot.
Cobra Mercs! Major Bludd, Scrap Iron (In his arctic fatigues... this photo was taken before the release of the 80's accurate Scrap Iron who is absolutely gorgeous!), Wild Weasel (From the Comic Twin-pack with Ace!), Copperhead (again from the comic two-pack - this time with Shipwreck) and Single Carded Firefly.
Sunstreaker:
Pyramid of Darkness DVD boxed set - this was tho only way to get hold of Quick-Kick for the longest time.
Arise Serpentor, Arise! DVD boxed Set. This pack is full of win! DVD introduces Beachhead, Sgt. Slaughter, Dr.Mindbender and Serpentor, and all the figures are gold! Classic Serpentor, Dusty (first time in 25th) and red-faced B.A.T.
F.A.N.G. and C.L.A.W. double pack with Viper and Air-Trooper. An army builders dream. I bought 6! Along with the Brazil Mission A.W.E. Striker with Leatherneck.
Cobra Arctic Assault Squads. I loved these! Great mix of Vipers and Snow Serpents!
Sunstreaker:
Cobra Desert Squad - another great set! Lots of Desert Ops Crimson Guard and Troopers!
A close up on the Arctic Squad...
...and on the Desert!
A focus on the Viper and Snow Serpent Units (Snow Serpents aren't in the Viper forces, they're a naval force - but when the photo was taken 'Sbro had yet to release any Eels!). Included with the Vipers are Tele-Vipers (regular and Arctic fatigues) in addition to Arctic and F.A.N.G. Pilots.
Sunstreaker:
A close up on the Cobra Trooper forces, including HiSS Drivers and Commanders.
A close up on the Cobra Elite forces - B.A.T.s, Air-Troopers, A.V.A.C.s and Crimson Guard.
Tomax, Xamot, Storm Shadow and a Red Ninja bodyguard!
Iron Grenadier Destro, the Baroness and an Iron Grenadier henchman!
Sunstreaker:
The Boss!
A wall of HiSS!
Comic packs. Tripwire and CC, Falcon and Nemesis Enforcer, and the Iron Grenadier pack. The CC is a bit ropey, but the rest are very nice!
One of the late 2008 waves - the Wraith is nice - if a little fragile. I have the clear blue variant as well...will root through the photos!
Sunstreaker:
Cobra Bazooka Troopers - a great and very easy to pick up builder. I finished with 10 of these!
Cobra Para-Troopers - an Eel Variant. The 2009 figure was quite garish in its colour scheme, and was replaced with a far darker more muted paint job for RoC.
Another Awesome wave! 'Scarlett' is actually a nod to the Argentinian Glenda figure. Also Matt Tracker from M.A.S.K., the Eel (Finally!), Airborne, Flint (as a Troop Cobra Builder!) and Zartan with mini-Swamp-Skier!
Another great wave for builders- The Cobra Diver is a great addition.
