"Like Transformers: Prime series? Start saving (Images not shown)
[Transformers: Prime Toys] To come earlier than expected.

This follows on from some rumours of deluxe Transformers Prime figures being spotted.

In a follow-up to the news story we bought you on Christmas Eve which included the first images of the Transformers Dark of the Moon toy packaging, ACToys.net have posted two new images of the Chinese packaging for Dark of the Moon Megatron. The packaging appears to be a sample as there is plenty of space left on the back and it is missing the writing from the previous images.

ACToys.net member 反冲has posted a series of images of the Seacons in Generation One colour schemes though Snap Trap is missing and Jawbreaker / Overbite is somewhat off coloured. Some of the toys have a "not for sale" stamp as well as "made in China" markings suggesting that though they also have an 1987 copyright marking, that these figures have been made in recent years. Its unlikely that these were test-shots for the Collectors Club figure, as white samples have already been seen of those and its more likely that these figures could be seeing a re-release perhaps as a SDCC exclusive or a Japanese release. Expect more on this as the story develops.

Months ago we reported that TakaraTomy were shifting their toy production factories away from China to Vietnam in order ot save money. Well it looks like they already have shifted some Transformers production as Actoys.net member feng423999 has a video (See below) along with some images of the upcoming Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Starscream figure, complete with "made in Vietnam stamp. As we previously commentated, its possible that when production fully shifts away form China, that this will result it less toys being leaked from the factories and appearing for sale, at least for a while.

The WWI toy is a Generation One colour repaint with the recoloured RiD Prime being called Hot Zone and is based on Generation One Hot Spot / the unreleased Botcon Defensor repaint of RiD Prime.
