TakaraTomy released a series of tweets overnight of the upcoming Street Fighter II x Transformers figures that will be available exclusively via the TakaraTomy Mall online store in special "Vs 2-Packs". The toys are due in May with a limited preorder opening at 1pm on the 18th December and feature Ryu (Titans Return Octane) Vs Bison (Ttians Return Blitzwing) and Chun Li (Generations Arcee) Vs Ken (Generations Hot Rod). Official images of the rumour Evangelion Transformers cross-over figure have now been revealed as a recolour of MP-10 Optimus Prime in the Evangelion colour scheme. You can view the images below.

Anime News Network are reporting that it appears as if Takara Tomy are going to run a crossover series between Transformers and Evangelion with the Japanese company taking out adverts in this months hobby magazines which feature a preview of the story that the cross-over will be based on.

The idea is so obvious, it's amazing it took this long. Toy maker Takara Tomy has taken out ads in this month's hobby magazines showing Optimus Prime with a very familiar color scheme. The details of the Evangelion cross-over is still underwraps at this point, but the ad even includes its own "story":

The Angels are invading. Breaking a long silence, the mysterious life-forms known as the Angels suddenly appear. The weapons the UN forces gather together in retaliation can't even scratch them. In the end, they turn to the secret agency, NERV, to manage the anti-Angel strategy. With Neo-Tokyo 3 in their sights, the Angels slowly advance upon the city...but suddenly a spaceship comes hurtling down from the sky above the Angels: the Autobot Sky Lynx! Out of the ship emerges warriors of the far-off planet Cybertron. They've come to investigate after noticing an unusual energy reading.

Optimus Prime sets his sights on an enemy much bigger than himself.

The company opened a 30th anniversary site for Transformers last week and Nippon Television Network will hold the Transformers Expo in August.

Hasbro Inc have published some official stock images of this years SDCC exclusive figures, which you can view below. On a Transformers side the figures include the G.I.Joe - Transformers crossover H.I.S.S Tank Shockwave as well as the Fall of Cybertron Bruticus giftset.

The exclusive figure for this years Roll Out Roll Call convention has now been revealed and it's another G.I-Joe / Transformers cross-over Pretender.  Last years exclusive was a Pretender of The Kraken which was received with mix reaction from fans, well this year the exclusive is the S.N.A.K.E armour from G.I-Joe only as a up-scaled Pretender figure.  We've seen the prototypes of these and they are big!  The figure are being made exclusively for the show and will be very limited.  They are available in three colour schemes red, white and blue and come with a sticker sheet to allow you to customise the figure to your favourite faction.  You can view the reveal below.

�KOToys.com have posted lots of new images of their upcoming recoloured knock-off Transformers figure Powerrat.� Powerrat is a recoloured version of the CHSM Powerglide toy painted up, with decals, to look like the Cobra Rattler from G.I-Joe.� You can view some of the images below, but we advise you to drop by the KOToys forum to view all of the images.

The figure will be avai�lable to order soon and is limited to 300 pieces.

JoeDeclassified.com have posted some new images images of the upcoming SDCC exclusive G.I.Joe/Transformers Crossover Starscream Sky Striker.� Gryre-Viper, who posted the the images, included the comment "Well, here they are... some first images of a one-seater SDCC Starscream that are NOT mocked-up 2-seater stock photos. Have fun identifying all the little easter eggs. �
