Ameblo.jp have updated their website with some new images of the Sentinel transforming Optimus Prime pen, or the "Convoy Pen" to give use it's official name. The working pen will go on sale in September of this year for 3,980 yen and will be available in three colour schemes. The first is a traditional red and blue Convoy / Optimus Prime theme, the second is a Decepticon Black recolour and the third is a white Ultra Magnus recolour. The images, which can be seen below, appear to have been coloured on a computer so the final products may vary.

After almost 12 months of delay the reason why the Device Label Broadcast (Blaster) has finally been revealed.  According to GetNews.jp the Toshiba licensed Transformers Device Label figure had to be redesigned after a design flaw was found that when you transformed the toy from the USB hub mode into his robot form, that the data cable became damaged around the groin area of the toy.  This means that continued Transformations would result in the device failing.  So he had to go back into development to fix the problem.

In related news, at the Japanese Toy Award 2010 show, the Device Label line came third in the awards under the Toy Character division.

We have created an image gallery containing scans of pretty much everything in this months Dengeki Hobby Magazine, so that is over 300 images of action figures, models, statues and all kinda of "tacktastic" goodness.  Including in the gallery is seven pages of Transformers related content including Device Label Broadcast, Disney Label Buzz Lightyeat, UA-01 Jet Power Optimus Prime, the Transformers Animated Dinobots, Arcee, new Transformers T-shirts and more.

­We have now created a full gallery of images, thanks to Yokubarion, from the 2010 International Anime Fair

The fair saw the ­Transformers Animated toys displayed as well as Sega's Transformers Arcade game.

Seibertron.com has posted a copy of an advert from Toshiba in the US showing off the Device Label toys.

Although the figures are already out in Japan, these are the first official US images of the toys.

The latest issue of Hyper Hobby Magazine has been released a day early as the 1st November falls on a Sunday.  Most of the contents are the same as the last few months, Bazooka Optimus Prime, EZ Collection, Disney Label Donald Duck and the Cassette Volume 3 pack.  What interested is the cassette volume 3 pack is listd as being delayed due to problems with the metal mold that needed to be replaced.

Device Label Broadcast (Blaster) has now been renamed as Broadblast!  No reason is given for the name change and but it appears that the release of the toy has now slipped again to 2010.  Originally the figure was suppose to have been released in September 2009.
