UK Tabloid newspaper,
ÂÂThe Mirror, is reporting that Megan Fox was fired from the cast of Transformers at a direct request by Producer Steven Spielberg. According to the paper, Mr Spielberg "
was outraged after she compared Michael Bay to Hitler during a press interview". The story is based from a comment that Director Michael Bay said in passing at the premier of Transformers: Dark of the Moon where he is quoted as having said â
You know the Hitler thing? Steven said: âFire her right now.ââ. Mr Bay has previously stated that he was not hurt by the comments, with Megan reporting that she left the third in the series to pursue other opportunities.

Megan Fox will not be returning for the third live action Transformers film. What is not clear though is whether it was her decision not to return or whether she was nixed by Michael Bay and Paramount Pictures. According to
deadline.com, who broke the story originally, the decision to axe Miss Fox was taken by Michael Bay, however, and this is to be expected, Megan reps have told
People magazine that it was in fact her decision not to return for the third movie. Since the announcement the US gossip magazines / websites are already running rumours on who will be replacing Megan as Sam's love interest in the third movie, with
The Wrap reporting that Gemma Arterton emerged as the early favourite to replace her, though since they pretty much everyone has been linked including Zoe Saldana, Hayden Panetierre, Vanessa Hudgens, Amber Heard, Camilla Belle, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Ashley Greene, Julianne Hough, Jessica Lowndes and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

In an interview with
MTV's Brian Warmoth Hasbro's CEO Brian Goldner told MTV News "
Youâre going to see that great core mythology brought to the fore, and
Michael is hard at work at making this a reality and weâre very excited
about it ... I mean, I think itâs a great time to put it out in 2011
and weâre very excited about the movie.". Brian also confirmed that Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will both return for the third movie before going on to state that "
What weâre really doing is getting back to some of the core character
development and storytelling. And I think thereâs some elements of the
core story that the filmmakers, Michael in particular wanted to tell, ... Heâs really well-versed in the Transformers lore.
So I think youâll see, you know, less bedlam, more characters."

With the initial work just starting on Transformers 3 Hollywood gossip magazine In Touch is allegedly reporting that Michael Bay is considering writing Megan out of the series, via a gory death
scene, within the first few frames of Transformers 3 and replacing her with
another young actress. Apparently an insider told them âMichaelâs pretty much discovered Megan and now heâs
very quietly looking for her replacement. He hasnât decided if heâs
going to kill her off in the next movie, but he just wants to be
prepared..
This story was picked up by HollyScoop and from that point it has started to spread across the internet like wildfire. However what has not been shown is when the quote was made. Most likely this quote was made after the "open letter" sent by three crew members to Nelson, the administration of Michael Bay's website.

You may recall that back on the 12th September we reported a news story titled Crew Members Respond to Megan Fox's InsultsÂ, Âin which we published the "Open Letter" that three members of the Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen crew had written about Megan Fox in response to comments made by her regarding Michael Bay.
We we rightly predicted Michael Bay came out in her defence and had the original post removed from his message board.
Well now Miss Fox, via her publicist has issued the following short statement.
"I have spoken with the parties involved privately, I am very fortunate to be involved in
this amazing franchise and look forward to Transformers 3."
Credit to Digital Spy for the quote.

Following up from the story we ran last night, as predicted regarding the open letter from three Transformers Revenge of the Fallen crew, and sent to Nelson (editor of Shoot for the Edit)regarding Megan Fox's recent comments about Michael Bay, the letter / comments have now been removed from Michael's website (as we predicted).
Michael Bay has posted the following comment.
09/12/2009 11:32 PM
I
donât condone the crew letter to Megan. And I donât condone Meganâs
outlandish quotes. But her crazy quips are part of her crazy charm. The
fact of the matter I still love working with her, and I know we still
get along. I even expect more crazy quotes from her on Transformers 3.
Michael
If you want to read the crew's original reaction then you can still do so on Transformers At The Moon and the news story which we posted last night, mirroring the story for exactly this reason.

Nelson, the admin of Michael Bay's website and message board has posted the following "open letter" response from three disgruntled members of the team that worked on Transformers and Transformers Revenge of the Fallen in reference to comments that were made by Megan Fox and recently published in various magazines and newspapers around the world. Her comments included a line that compared Mr Bay to Adolf Hitler when he was on the set. You can view a copy of the letter below just in case it gets retracted.
"Nelson,
This is an open letter to
all Michael Bay fans. Â We are three crew members that have worked with
Michael for the past ten years. Â Last week we read the terrible article
with inflammatory, truly trashing quotes by the Ms. Fox about Michael
Bay.  This letter is to set a few things straight.
Yes, Megan
has great eyes, a tight stomach we spray with glycerin, and an awful
silly Marilyn Monroe tattoo plastered on her arm that we cover up to
keep the moms happy.
Michael found this shy, inexperienced girl,
plucked her out of total obscurity thus giving her the biggest shot of
any young actresses' life. He told everyone around to just trust him on
his choice. Â He granted her the starring role in Transformers, a
franchise that forever changed her life; she became one of the most
googled and oogled women on earth. Â She was famous! Â She was the next
Angelina Jolie, hooray! Wait a minute, two of us worked with Angelina â
second thought â sheâs no Angelina.  You see, Angelia is a professional.
We
know this quite intimately because weâve had the tedious experience of
working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox on both Transformers movies.
We've spent a total of 12 months on set making these two movies. Â
We
are in different departments; we canât give our names because sadly
doing so in Hollywood could lead to being banished from future
Paramount work. Â One of us touches Meganâs panties, the other has the
often shitty job of pulling Ms. Sour pants out of her trailer, while
another is near the Panaflex camera that helps to memorialize the
valley girl on film.Â
Megan has the press fooled. Â When we read
those magazines we wish we worked with that woman. Megan knows how to
work her smile for the press. Those writers should try being on set for
two movies, sadly she never smiles. Â The cast, crew and director make
Transformers a really fun and energetic set. Â Weâve traveled around the
world together, so we have never understood why Megan was always such â
the grump of the set?Â
When facing the press, Megan is the queen
of talking trailer trash and posing like a porn star. Â And yes weâve
had the unbearable time of watching her try to act on set, and yes,
it's very cringe-able. So maybe, being a porn star in the future might
be a good career option. But make-up beware, she has a paragraph
tattooed to her backside (probably due her rotten childhood) easily
another 45 minutes in the chair!
So when the three of us caught
wind of Ms Fox, pontificating yet again in some publication (like she
actually has something interesting to say) blabbing her trash mouth
about a director whom we three have grown to really like. She compared
working with Michael, to âworking with Hitlerâ. Â We actually donât
think she knows who Hitler is by the way. Â But we wondered how she
doesnât realize what a disgusting, fully uneducated comment this was?
Well, here letâs get some facts straight.
Say what you want
about Michael â yes at times he can be hard, but he's also fun, and he
challenges everyone for a reason â he simply wants people to bring
their âAâ game. Â He comes very prepared, knows exactly what he wants,
involves the crew and expects everyone to follow through with his or
her best, and that includes the actors. Â Heâs one of the hardest
working directors out there.
He gets the best from his crews,
many of whom have worked with him for 15 years. Â And yes, heâs loyal,
one of the few directors weâve encountered who lowered his fee by
millions to keep Transformers in the United States and California, so
he could work with his own crew.Â
Megan says that Transformers
was an unsafe set? Come on Megan, we know it is a bit more strenuous
then the playground at the trailer park, but you donât insult one of
the very best stunt and physical effects teams in the business! Â Not
one person got hurt!
And who is the real Megan Fox? Â She is very
different than the academy nominee and winning actors weâve all worked
around. Â Sheâs as about ungracious a person as you can ever fathom.
She shows little interest in the crew members around her.  We work to
make her look good in every way, but she's absolutely never
appreciative of anyoneâs hard work. Never a thank you. Â All the
crewmembers have stopped saying hi to Ms. Princess because she never
says hello back. It gets tiring. Many think she just really hates the
process of being an actress. Â
Megan has been late to the sets
many times. She goes through the motions that make her exude this sense
of misery. Weâve heard the A.Dâs piped over the radio that Megan wonât
walk from her trailer until John Turturro walks first! Johnâs done
seventy-five movies and sheâs made two! Â Â
Never expect Megan to
attend any of the 15 or so crew parties like all the other actors have.
And then there's the classless night she blew off The Royal Prince of
Jordan who made a special dinner for all the actors. She doesnât know
that one of the grips daughters wanted to visit their daddyâs work to
meet Megan, but he wouldnât let them come because he told them âshe is
not nice."
The press certainly doesnât know her most famous
line. On our first day in Egypt, the Egyptian government wouldnât let
us shoot because of a permit problem as the actors got ready in make up
at the Four Seasons Hotel. Michael tried to make the best of it; he
wanted to take the cast and crew on a private tour of the famous Giza
pyramids. God hold us witness, Megan said, "I canât believe Michael is
fucking forcing us to go to the fucking pyramids!" I guess this is the
âHitler guyâ she is referring to.
So this is the Megan Fox you
donât get to see. Maybe she will learn, but we figure if she can sling
insults, then she can take them too. Megan really is a thankless,
classless, graceless, and shall we say unfriendly bitch. It's sad how
fame can twist people, and even sadder that young girls look up to her.
If only they knew who they're really looking up to.
But âFameâ
is fleeting. Â We, being behind the scenes, seen emâ come and go.
Hopefully Michael will have Megatron squish her character in the first
ten minutes of Transformers 3. We can tell you that will make the crew
happy!
-Loyal Transformers CrewÂÂ"

In an interview with Sci-Fi.com, Megan Fox has spoken about her role in the second live action Transformers Movie, Transformers: Revenge of the fallen and how the movie is crazier than the first "by like a hundred [fold]".
When asked about injuries, Megan replied "I'm doing good, I've had like four injuries so far. So I'm
accumulating the injuries and just going on with it. It's fun. It's
what it is. It's a Michael Bay movie."
Some of the injuries came from a scene with Bumblebee which Mega describes as a different Bumblebee. "There's a different Bumblebee, the
yellow one that you see in the movie, that we drive, I don't drive it, but it drives at like 120 miles an hour, and we're
in it with no seat belts or harnesses or anything. It's, if we die, we
die, all in the name of Transformers (laughs)."
Miss Fox explains that the story of Mikaela and Sam Witwicky
picks up two years after the events of the first movie. "It's sort of
like a jump, It's two years from when you last saw us,
obviously, because it's matching with when the movie comes out. We're
college age, and our relationship ... we just get together in the last
one. And so you miss all of that new relationship. There's no love
scenes, no big hookup in the end. That's all, sort of, in the past.
Because we've been together for years now. So we're just together,
hanging out, doing what we got to do to ... That's all I can say!".
In a spoiler, she spoke of how her character, Mikaela, has remained in Los Angeles while Sam has gone off to college in the east. "We're shooting in L.A. for the next few weeks.[Previously ] we
were in Philadelphia and New Jersey on the East Coast. We're only now
in our fifth week of filming, so we're here for a few weeks. ... I'm
not in college. Shia's character's in college. I'm back home."

Last night we went to our 5th screening of the new Transformers Movie, this time it was the VIP Screening at the Apollo Cinema in Piccadilly Circus. The showing was for 170 people made up of reporters from glossy magazines and various celebrities. Transformers At The Moon was was in full-force, thanks to an invite from Paramount Pictures and we can report that the following stars were in attendance (some we saw, thanks to Sarah for pointing them out, others we personally did not).
Natasha Bedingfield
Alesha Dixon (formally part of Mis-Teeq)
Lisa Maffia (originally from So Solid Crew then a solo artist)
Simon Webbe (Blue)
Dave Berry (TV Presenter).
Alfie Allen (actor)
Matt Di Angelo (actor / Eastenders)
Emma Griffiths (presenter / model)
Donald McIntyre (Columist on the Independant)
Various other celebrities from music, film and tv were there (we're hoping to get a list to you all).
As you'd expect security was high, both inside and outside of the cinema, with tons of paparazzi outside the cinema trying to photograph those going in. The VIP guests were photograph in front of a Transformers Movie standee, for advertising shots, and we saw a few people being photograph when leaving.
The screening went well, with the guests seemingly enjoying the film, although less vocal then any of the previous four screenings I've been to. A VIP goody-bag was given to those in attendance, supplied by Forbidden Planet. It contained:-
- Transformers Movie Sticker Book
- 1 pack of Transformers Movie stickers
- Transformers Movie transforming pen
- Transformers Movie notepad
- Transformers Movie wristband
- Various bars of chocolate and Haribo sweets
- Forbidden Planet Transformers logo bag
It was great fun attending the event again, although we were a tad under-dressed for the event (to quote a line from the new film). Megan Fox couldn't make the showing due to late filming, she was due to do an introduction, but was replaced by TV presenter Dave Berry. Although his talk sounded a little pre-written it was pretty funny and entertaining, and from what he was saying before the showing he did sound like a fan when he was younger.

Transformers movie leading lady, Megan Fox, has admitted to UK paper The Daily Star that she finds it strange to be viewed as a sex symbol. The 21-year-old plays Mikaela Banes in the movie, and is currently in the UK working on other projects, insists that she wants to be seen as much more than a pretty face.
"
I don't feel sexy like that, especially not when you're getting ready to film and there's a crew of 1,000 men just waiting for you to lean over the hood of a car," Fox said. "
But film fans want to see pretty people on the screen. It's a fantasy world. I'm not going to apologise for my looks, but there's a lot more to me than that."
When asked if she gets approached by men more often since starring in
Transformers, Megan replied: "
