Transformers Asia updated their Facebook page a couple of days ago with some new images of the Ultimate Edition Movie Optimus Prime. This release is of the Revenge of the Falllen figure comes with a new paint job, the accessories of the Japanese exclusive Dark of the Moon Striker Optimus Prime and Jetwings Optimus Prime as well as the sword and hook purchase incentives.

Nelson, the administrator over on Michael Bay's Shoot for the Edit website,
has posted some new information on the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon 3D
Blu-Ray Edition as well as revealing the initial details of a 7-disc blu-ray box set that will contain all three of the live action films.

Both Michael Bay, via his own website, and Paramount Pictures, via TFW2005 have confirmed that the Twins from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Mudflap and Skids will not be appearing in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
After the internet posting of a nice review by someone who saw Transformers Dark of the Moon, the writer had not been clear on one thing. He misstated that the Twins are in the film. They are not.So I am offering a $25,000 REWARD to anyone who can find them performing in Transformers 3, on July 1, when the movie opens.

KapowToys.co.uk have posted a new blog update on their blogspot account with a first reveal of an upcoming Transformers Dark of the Moon repaint of ROTF Starscream. The figure will be a target exclusive in the US and as such if he sees a UK release, then it is most likely going to be within Tesco stores. The image comes thanks to Dave from AllTheCoolStuff the organisers behind Roll Out 2 Roll Call, the small UK convention taking place next Sunday.

I have updated the Transformers Toy Gallery section of the website to contain a new gallery of one of the Family Mart campaign figures that was released in Japan last year. The gallery is of the clear leader class Optimus Prime figure from the Transformers Revenge (Revenge of the Fallen) toyline. We bought the figure last year as apart of a bulk auction that included 95% of the Family Mart Prizes, only we did not get around to photographing this figure until yesterday. Its a bit of a sad tale for this toy really, that was opened, transformed, and then put in a cupboard for a few months even though we planned on keeping him in his box on a shelf with the rest of the Movieverse figures as as well as taking the gallery yesterday he has now joined his "brothers" rather than hi-jacking the Masterpiece shelf.

AsswhompSupreme have posted some links to the Hasbro intruction website over on the TFW2005 Boards that reveal the names of some new Transformers Revenge of the Fallen scout repaints. The packs are apparently "versus sets" with the figures names as Blue Maximus, Crosshairs, Drydock, and Undertow.

But wait, before you get too excited, the toy is actually just the Japanese release of Leader Class Revenge of the Fallen Starscream in Masterpiece packaging. Kapow toys are reporting that they have received their allocation of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Brawn, Lockdown, Deluxe Ratchet, Strike Mission Sideswipe and NEST Bumblebee. This means that that these items are likely to start appearing within Toys R Us, Argos and The Entertainer soon, though you can also order them direct from Kapow Toys for £12.95.

Months ago we reported that TakaraTomy were shifting their toy production factories away from China to Vietnam in order ot save money. Well it looks like they already have shifted some Transformers production as Actoys.net member feng423999 has a video (See below) along with some images of the upcoming Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Starscream figure, complete with "made in Vietnam stamp. As we previously commentated, its possible that when production fully shifts away form China, that this will result it less toys being leaked from the factories and appearing for sale, at least for a while.
