Simon Furman has updated his blog with some information regarding the main story that will be published in Titan Magazines UK exclusive Transformers comic. The story, a stand-alone story, is called Dark Spark and is written to bridge the gap between the Aftermath story arc and the Twilight's Last Gleaming arc. Here are some quotes from the blog.
"It’s called ‘Dark
Spark’ (I know, I know!) and it centers around the return of a
character many might have thought gone for good .... [it will] define this second batch of 13 UK issues. It’s also more
character led than other recent issues, which I do like to do from time
to time .... If you’ve read issue #14
(’Aftermath pt1′), you’ll have some idea already where the ’spark’ of
‘Dark Spark’ comes from, but who gets it and what it does to them may
surprise you. And it’s all connected to what’s happening (and trust me,
it’s all bad) to Earth. The story sees the debut of one Decepticon and
paves the way for that of four Autobots. And that’s all I’m gonna tell
you, except that issue #16 hits UK stores on September 11th and the art
is by Jeremy Tiongson".

Simon Furman has updated his blog with a post regarding the 10th issue of the UK Transformers comic. Artwork by Jeremy Tiongson, colours by Jason Cardy. Here's a quote
"As bleak as things were looking for the Autobots (and pretty much the whole of humankind) in part 1, in part 2 things get that much worse. The Autobot counter-offensive against the ruling Decepticons looks to be derailed before it’s even started, with Bumblebee and Mikaela both hunted (by Megatron and Frenzy respectively) inside the former Sector 7/Hoover dam base and the moon-based Autobot reinforcements compromised, and Earth’s military response targeted (by Starscream and Dreadwing). Only Ratchet and Ironhide’s side of the main strike seems still to be proceeding on course, but (realistically) how long can that last? Chaos, carnage, all-out action, things haven’t been this epic since the days of Marvel UK. Whatever you do, don’t miss it."
You can read the post in full as well as see a preview image, if its been re-uploaded by then, over at Simon's blog.

In his latest blog update, Simon Furman has given a few pointers as to the direction that in which the UK exclusive Transformers comic, from Titan Books, will be heading. After issue 6, the story will switch to take place just at the end of the Transformers movie and will revolve around Starscream’s Militia.
"‘Starscream’s Militia’ picks up directly (moments) after Megatron’s
final downfall, and has a distinctly ‘Night of the Living Dead’ type
vibe, as Starscream makes decidedly unconventional use of such
downed/deactivated Decepticons as Barricade, Blackout and Devastator.
‘Starscream’s Militia’ is written by me, with art from a relative
newcomer to TF-strip work (apart, I believe, from a back-up strip in
Panini’s Transformers Armada #9) Simon Williams. " Posts Simon (Fuman).
Also the article acts as a reminder that Issue 4 was released within the UK today. If, like us, your local stockist are not selling the comic, remember that you can subscribe online.
