eBay seller Heerostoyhamker has listed an interesting auction for what he refers to as a Generation One Optimus Prime prototype testshot.
The figure is actually a testshot, not a prototype, and isn't a Generation One mold rather one of the newer reissues of Convoy. The toy features the head which was designed for the Transformers Music Label Convoy figures.

Heerostoymaker (aka TinTinHappy and various other names) has placed an auction on ebay for his latest clear/chrome figure. This time its a clear Transformers Henkei Convoy but with some chrome gold parts. The figure is not a lucky draw figure nor will it ever been officially released. This origianl toy was made in the TakaraTomy factories and was then later chromed over. It is not an official Transformers item and can be put into the same category as our recently posted all gold chrome Big Convoy and Silver chrome Big Convoy with blue parts.

hla2009tf2009 has listed an auction for a Clear Generation One Ramjet toy (actually a clear Reissue or Encore figure) which matches the Transformers Lunchtime Specials, or clear testshots, which were all the rage a few years ago.
The auction includes some great images and we believe this is the first time the Clear G1 Ramjet figure has appeared for auction and includes eToysHunter's watermarked images.
The account has no feedback, so this could be a new account for eToysHunter .. or it could be a fake auction, though we've not personally seen those pictures before.

We received several emails after putting out Transformers toy gallery of the unreleased Transformers Universe Smokesceen figure online last year, asking us to let those people know if another one came up for sale. Well today we've spotted an auction for both the Transformers Universe Smokescreen as well as Drench - so the complete Battle in a Box set.
The auction isn't cheap, but offers you the chance to get this really nice unreleased figure as well as Drench.

Well known and respected Transformers collector and dealer Paul "The Spacebrigde" Hitchens has placed a few prized posessions for sale on ebay. Up for sale are gems such as the all white Generation Two Grimlock testshot, unreleased Generation Two Blades, Generation Two Combat Hero Optimus Prime on mockup card, unreleased Generation Towo Gobot Rumble and unreleased Generation Two Go-Bot Daytonus along with various other rare items and testshots.

Part three of our January "Build-up to BotCon" features a hand painted sample of the unreleased BotCon Wreckers Rotorbolt figure.
Rotorbolt was a repaint of the Beast Machines Vehicon Obsidian toy, but
was never intended to be issued as a convention exclusive. This was
handpainted by a former lead deco artist from Hasbro and is the exact
toy pictured on the BotCon Web site at
http://www.botcon.com/archive/story/characters/catalog.html.

We've updated out previously small (2 images) gallery of the currently unreleased BotCon Wreckers Alpha Trion toy with 44 more images.
The gallery now comprises of the only full image gallery of this toy on the web, as it features the hand painted sample made for 3H, and never put into full production.
The timing of the gallery is perfect, with the BotCon 2009 toys believed to be comprised of the remaining BotCon Wrecker team, of which Alpha Trion was their leader.
Alpha Trion is featured along side Beast Machines Snarl and an all white testshot of Beast Machines Snarl (of which Hasbro put the legs on backwards).

A few more interesting Transformers auctions have appeared on ebay including several Transformers testshots, listed as Transformers prototypes, and Transformers Hardcopies.
The auctions are for a hardcopy Transformers Movie Scorponok figure, a testshot of the Japaneses G1 Killbision toy, and an auction for a testshot of G1 Fortress Maximus along with a testshot of Sixshot and an all black Ramjet (previously seen on ebay).

Earlier this year we started what we called our "Lucky Draw Research Project". This mini-project involved us trying to track down any and all hard evidence relating to the Takara Japanese Exclusive campaign prize draw Transformers figures known as Lucky Draw toys.
The project, which we had technically started several years ago with online research, involved us spending quiet a bit of time and an awful lot of money to buy back issues of various Japanese toy , TV and collectors magazines. There were a few issues to get over with the research.
Anyway we bought over 150 magazines over a month and had them shipped into the UK (which was a whole new story) where we had to sort through them, document the information and then scan each of the magazines for evidence. We decided to scan any and every page which featured Transformers on them, as well as a few other series which we liked such as Microman.
Anyway the first batch of updates are now available on Transformers At The Moon in our In The Media section. The new galleries include Lucky Draw Transformers toys, Transformers protype and testshot toys, a Beast Wars II manga and much more. The Issues also include the Hyper Hobby magazine which featured the Black Rodimus Convoy toy currently on eBay:-
