The figure does not have a release date and the document appears to be dated as the 9th Jan even though Icespark posted about it today.

For now take this news  as a rumour but you can view the entry below.

Transformers Rumours

If you are in the US and want to get the Transformers: Age of Extinction figures, then you should head on down to your local Wal*Mart and check to see whether they have put the toys out onto the shelves early.  Yes as is the case with almost every product launch someone was going to break the "street date" of May 17th 2014 and it appears that Wal*Mart have started the trend by breaking it by over a month!  Toy companies do not look always well on this sort of thing as they often receive complaints from competitors, but Hasbro Inc will not do anything as it's Wal*Mart and will, instead, sit back and watch the toys sells as scalpers hunt down the toys to place them on eBay and try to make some quick money.

TFW2005 board member Yobuster has recently picked up Soundwave from Wave 1 of the Beast Hunters line and to his suprise, the backing card revealed a new Transformers Prime Beast Hunters figure in Ripclaw.  Ripclaws profile reads as "Unquestioningly loyal to the PREDACON causee, RIPCLAW crushes her enemies and leave their circuits burning with her mech-venom!"

Hi Everyone, Picked up my set of TF Prime Beast Hunters wave 1 today. Picked up deluxe Soundwave, Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Laserback. Great figures. And as i was admiring the figure i turned Soundwave's packaging around and i realised they got the wrong filecard/backing. Instead i see Deluxe Class Ripclaw. Picture attached for proof. Not sure if this was announced before but a quick search of the forums didn't show any.
Hope this is news for everyone!

Transformers Rumours

Vice President of Hasbro Designs, Mr Aaron Archer, has confirmed during SDCC that there are presently no plans to release the Transformers PRime Breakdown toy in the west.  This means that if you wish to own this figure, you will have to import the Japanase Arms Micron figure.

"The company knows that the mold is available, says Aaron Archer, the Vice President of Hasbro Design, but was "not made to the same standards."

He did not elaborate on this, but he claims that the figure is in "no man's land" cost-wise, so it may be that converting the Arms Micron ports may be too costly for the company.

Mr. Archer continues the Hasbro has to consider many things, including the aforementioned cost issues and "what people want in the U.S. and global market.""

Twitter users Brent Michael Fury (Brentosaur) has tweeted an image of the Transformers Prime First Edition Bumblebee which he found on the shelves of his local Wal*Mart within the US.  The first edition toys were reportedly not going to be available so does this mean those reports were wrong or is was there a mis-packaged case?  Time will tell.

Prepare to Experience the World of TRANSFORMERS PRIME!

TRANSFORMERS PRIME – DARKNESS RISING

A 5-Part Original Miniseries
Hitting Home Entertainment Shelves Nationwide

OWN IT ON DVD DECEMBER 6, 2011

FROM SHOUT! FACTORY

“MEGATRON has not been seen nor heard from in sometime, and if his return is imminent, it could be catastrophic,” said OPTIMUS PRIME.

The lure of the TRANSFORMERS saga starts a new chapter as all foes return, legendary heroes rise, and new ones are found in unlikely places. The new CGI animated series TRANSFORMERS PRIME which currently airs on The Hub television network and is a Hasbro Studios production, deepens the epic mythology of both the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS, while starting fresh for a new generation of fans. Arch rivals the AUTOBOTS and the evil DECEPTICONS, lead by MEGATRON once again face-off in their rivalry for control of Earth in this new show. Celebrate the triumphant return of the AUTOBOTS through cutting-edge CGI animation with TRANSFORMERS PRIME – DARKNESS RISING. Early 2011, loyal TRANSFORMERS fans, as well as families and kids, were introduced to this visually stunning five-part miniseries on The Hub. OPTIMUS PRIME, BUMBLEBEE, ARCEE, AUTOBOT RATCHET, BULKHEAD, and many others are back to "roll out" against MEGATRON's latest attempt to conquer Earth. And MEGATRON proves to be more powerful than ever, having acquired a rare element that allows him mastery over life itself. OPTIMUS PRIME and the AUTBOTS may be few against the DECEPTICON hordes, but they find increased strength through bonds forged with three human teenagers, taking the human drama to levels as yet unseen by the franchise.

On December 6, 2011, Shout! Factory, in collaboration with Hasbro, Inc, will release TRANSFORMERS PRIME – DARKNESS RISING DVD, featuring the entire five action-packed episodes and bonus content. Delivering a new level of heavy metal action and family entertainment for all ages, this highly collectible DVD is priced to own with a suggested retail price of $14.97.

TRANSFORMERS PRIME – DARKNESS RISING boasts an all-star voice cast, including Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, Steve Blum, Jeffrey Combs, Dwayne Johnson, among other notables. TRANSFORMERS PRIME is produced by Hasbro Studios. Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Jeff Kline are executive producers.
