The Allspark.com member Darkmount recently contacted Hasbro UK to ask when future waves of Transformers Generations would be released in the UK (so Wave 3 onwards), the reply he received back was that there would be no further Transformers Generations figures released within the UK. Now its quiet possible that the customer service representative only has the release schedules for this year and thus is not aware of 2011 releases, but time will tell
Thank you for your interest in our Transformers product line.
Regrettably, I can confirm that we will not be offering any further case assortments from the Generations line.
I
can confirm however that we will be fully supporting all other
Transformers lines, including the newly released Stealth Force toys.
Please continue to check your local retailer for new products.
Kind regards,
Sarah

Kapow-Toys have posted word over on TFW2005.com that the Reveal of the Shield sub-line will be starting in December
"Following on from the pics of TF
united yesterday we've received some sparse news on a new theme / line
from Hasbro coming sometime December.
all we have been told is its called ''Reveal of the Shield'' and is of a
G1 theme which will be of
interest to mainly collectors.
Sorry for such little info, we'll post more as we get it"
Again thanks to 4Chan we can bring word from the latest issue of the Transformers collectors club (we'll not mirror the images this time you'll have to go looking since they are from FP magazine) that the as well as containing the first images of Generations Wreck-gar in both modes, the issue also announced that there will be a Generations G2 Optimus Prime that is based on the popular Lazer-Rod Optimus Prime figure (so expected s RiD Scourge repaint in due course as well as possible e-hobby inspired Ultra Magnus or a recolour based on the unreleased Toxitron) as well as a Generations Legends Trailcutter, basically G1 Trailbreaker under a new name. The issue also confirmed the rumour that the Masterpiece Rodimus Prime figure will be release within the US as Masterpiece Hot Rod (ie without the trailer), which will be dropped due to cost. The toy may come with some more accessories, most likely a targetmaster partner, though it was not confirmed within the magazine

Thanks to 4Chan we can share with you images of some upcoming Transformers figures.

Both TFW2005 and Seibertron.com have exclusive images relating to the Transformers United toy line which is the Japanese name for Transformers Generastions.
TFW2005 have images of the various figures courtesy of KapowToys. Meanwhile Seibertron.com have the first image of the box art that will be used for the line.

Toys R Us is celebrating its 25th annniversary within the UK this year and as a part of the celebration they have compiled a list of the Top Selling toys in Toys R Us stores for the last 25 years starting with Optimus Prime back in 1985.
Mike Coogan, Toys R Us marketing director, commented: "While technology is now more popular than ever before with children, customers who have been with us for the full 25 years will start to recognise some toys which are making a comeback.
Back in the eighties all the kids wanted to own the Transformers robots, and while they died out during the nineties, they are hugely popular once again due to the 2007 movie which was based on the original series.".
