Several American Transformers fan websites are reporting that Recon Barricade, the recoloured version of the deluxe Transformers Movie toy has not found it's way onto US shelves.

The area contains wallpaper images of the ad-breaks which appeared in the show, known as Transformers Cybertron in the west. Thanks to The Allspark for reporting on a post by IDW's Chris Ryall concerning a meeting he had with Hasbro. The meeting touched on an animated version of IDW's Transformers Movie Prequal comics (set to be a Wal-mart exclusive) as well as showing him the Transformers Animated movie (first three episodes).

TFW2005 report that the Generation One coloured Transformers Movie Soundwave toy has now been released in the United States. There is no word as to whether the recoloured toys will be released in the United Kingdom, but if they are they are most likely to be store exclusives.

Toshiba and Paramount Pictures UK have teamed up to offer one lucky
winner the opportunity to win a Helicopter Flying Lesson prize. The competition, part of the Transform Your World promotions, is being run by Toshiba to promote their Satellite and Equium retail notebook ranges.
