The UK based Transformers convention Auto Assembly 2005 is rapidly approaching and so now is the time to pop over to their site and pre-register for the event. Auto Assembly 2005 is on Saturday 4th June 2005 in the Clarendon Suites, Birmingham with pre-registrant prices at £7.50 for adults and £6.00 for children/concessions. On-the-door prices are £10 and £7.50. So book early to now only save yourself some money but also to help show your support for Transformers in the UK. AA's guest of honour this year is Neil Kaplan, the voice of Optimus Prime and Ro-Tor from Transformers: Robots In Disguise, so bring along those RID toys and DVD Boxsets and make use of what could be your only chance to get those items signed.

The Hasbro product page for Transformers Energon has been updated with Overbite and Repugnus. Overbit is the Beast Wars II Hellscream Cyberbeast, with Repugnus being a recoloured Beast Wars Buzzclaw, based on G1 Repugnus.

It appears that there is a problem with the e-hobby cassettes. Howlback (the blue Ravage) comes with two left weapons! So far we have had no reports of any sets having two right or even the correct distribution. We are not sure if the problem is just with the cases that we received (we've had mis-packaged items before from e-hobby) or whether this problem is with every set.

We received our 'Master Piece' Convoy trailer today, so if anyone pre-ordered one expect to receive it in the nexty few days. The item is bubbled wrap to an extend that the box is almost 3 times the size needed, so damage is extremely unlikely.
