I have added new image gallery this evening of a toy that arrived in the post today, the latest Transformers Collectors Club figure, Generation Two Ramjet. The toy is a recolour of the Transformers Classics Ramjet toy but in the Generation 2 colour scheme. As a fan of the original G2 Ramjet figure I was always going to snap this up as soon as it became available and I'm certainly glag that I did. Allspark.com are reporting that the Transformers Collectors Club exclusive Generation 2 Ramjet figure is starting to be delivered to US residents which means that if you ordered one, and are living within the US, you should expect the toy in the coming weeks. If you are overseas, the toys should also start to ship but depending on your choice of shipping, and the choice selected in the end by Fun Publications (as it doesn't always match) the toy could arrive any time from now to about 4 months time.

As part of our recent "rare toy" image gallery updates which have included Bumblebee Silver Version and Megatron Gold Version we thought it was time to turn back the block and bring you another image gallery update of one of our rarer figures from the 1990s. Generation 2 LazerCycle Soundwave. For those that don't know, Soundwave was due to be released as a recoloured LazerCycles Road pig along side Lazer Cycle Jazz but the G2 toyline was cancelled. No one is quite sure how many of these toys were produced, originally it was rumoured that there was only 15 of them, but that has since been disproved and it is generally considered that since carded versions were produced that a reasonable production run was actually made. That being said, these figures are still pretty difficult to track down, perhaps as they are not as sort-after as the Stunticons and Protectobots who are arguably the most sort after of the unreleased Generation Two items.

An auction ended a few hours ago on Yahoo Japan for a boxed unreleased Generation Two Megatron and ÂStarscream figure. The auction ended for 78,000yen, roughly £600, which is considerable less than the Â332,300yen, £2,500, that the last auction on Yahoo Japan ended for on the 23rd September which shows that you can still pick up these rare figures for competitive prices.

Longtime prototype seller senuseret72 has posted another auction for a proof pop-up card and reference materials for
the unreleased Transformers Generation 2 Go-Bot Greasepit that was set to be released as part of the Go-Bots Racing Rig. The action also includes reference materials containing the characters motto, bio, and tech spec.

Thanks to Maz, of TF-1.com, for posting in our Transformers Forum regarding his latest article over at TF-1 which features the previous unseen yellow and turquoise Generation Two Sideswipe.
Here's a little snippet from the article.
"At the time of the discovery of the G2 Desert-Camo Ramjet mock-up, yet another spectacular unreleased Generation 2 mock-up surfaced. This yellow-to-turquoise G2 Sideswipe never saw release in any country and like the Ramjet, is completely hand-painted over an existing production toy. This specimen came with no accessories but is unbroken, undamaged and completely transformable. As I just mentioned, it is painted over a production toy, and that production toy appears to be a black G2 Sideswipe."
