Alfes 2010 has posted an article over on his blog featuring the recently released TakaraTomy Transformers Generations TG-26 Bumblebee Goldbug and TG-27 Trailbreaker & Hoist. The images, he has posted, include comparison shots to their Hasbro counterparts (though he compares Goldbug to Bumblebee and not Goldfire). All of the toys feature alternate decos to their western release with the usual metallic paint applications but also it should be noted that Goldbug coes with a blue Generations Bumblebee head and not the Goldfire one. A Trailbreaker also features a red visor making the toy a close homage to the original G1 figure whilst Hoist features a darker shade of green.  You can view all of the images by clicking the link above.

The official Transformers Facebook page have posted new official images of the upcoming Transformers Generations Hoist and Thundercracker figures. Hoist is, of course, a remould of Trailcutter (Trailbreaker) whilst Thundercracker is the expected straight redeco of Starscream. Together, the figure form part of the second wave of "Spotlight comic toys" which come with IDW spotlights focusing on those characters.  You can view the mirrored images below.

The latest issue of the Transformers Collectors Club Magazine features an image of upcoming Generations Hoist figure.  Whilst the final figure will most likely vary from the stock image, it does give us all a good look at the molding differences to Trailcutter (Trailbreaker) including the wonderful head homage. The scan is from Optibtimus on Twitter.

The boxart for the upcoming Transformers Generations figures have now been revealed and can be viewed in full after the jump.  The box art includes Blitzwing, Thundercracker, Bumblebee (on-going and the Action Master homage), Orion Pax, Optimus Prime, Impactor, Megatron, Hoist and Trailcutter (AKA Trailbreaker).

Yesterday TFCC tweeted that they would release the first image of Botcon 2013 Hoist in vehicle mode, you may have noticed us report this across various social network channels, well they did and the images, along with the original robot mode form, can be seen below.  You can compare them to the original toy by checking out our image gallery of Machine Wars Hoist.

Pete Sinclair of the Transformers Collectors Club has dropped by The Allspark to talk about the possibility of recolouring the just-announced Botcon 2013 Machine Wars Hoist figure into Hubcap as well as a G2 inspired Electro.  Pete posted "Friday tidbit for the Allsparkers... We are NOT doing Hubcap AND Electro at BotCon. Nobody gets more than one repaint at the show. IF we offer a repaint of Hoist it will clearly be THAT character."

Hasbro's Facebook page was updated yesterday with an image of the first Botcon 2013 Machine Wars figure in the guise of Hoist who is a recolour of Transformers Generations Sgt Kup with a new head sculpt.

TFW2005.com are reporting that the Transformers: Generations GDO Legion class figures, the "Asian exclusives", have now been released at retail stores within the US. The assortment which has been spotted thus far contains Bluestreak, Motorbreath, Thundercracker and Hoist and were sighted at the National City, CA Toys R Us by TFW2005 boards member Astroscream.
