Following up from the release of the first full trailer for Transformers Dark Of The Moon we have created a new Transformers Live Action Movie image gallery that contains 111, yes that's one hundred and eleven, high resolution (1920 x 800 res, that's HD quality) screen captures from the trailer. You can view the image gallery here.
Mastermind Creations updated their blog last night with some robot mode images of their upcoming third-party release of KM03 Cyclops in robot form. You can view the blog entry here and the images below.
Another Amazon update has revealed a very loose plot summary for the third live action Transformers film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and
Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil
Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and
Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S.
and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of
his robot friends. There's new characters too, including a new villain
in the form of Shockwave, a longtime "Transformers" character who rules
Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.
IGN.com
is reporting that Activision /High Moon Studios will be releasing the downladable content for Transformers War For Cybertron on the 27th July. The DLC will cost $10 on the PS3 and 800 points on the XBox. The DLC will be many of the previously "pre-order exclusive" skins as well as some new maps. Here is a quote from the article.
"As detailed in the original leak (by
the Xbox Live Marketplace) of the DLC release here, the New
Map and Character Pack DLC includes new characters Scattershot and Onslaught, as well as Shockwave, Jazz, and Demolishor,
who were originally exclusive to pre-order customers at particular
retail locations. The DLC also contains two new multiplayer maps, and
also doubles the number of maps for the Horde-like Escalation mode to
four".

ÂSlashFilm have posted an article regarding the third live action Transformers film, still as yet unnamed, which covers some plot details, confirmation that the film will also see a 3D release (as was expected) and just who the main villain will be this time around.
* Final confirmation that movie will be released in 3D. No word on if it will be shot in 3D or converted in post. Knowing Bay's obsession with film, I'm assuming he agreed on a post process.
* The villain in Transformers 3 is "Shockwave, the robot cyclops-turned-laser-cannon, who became dictator of their home world of Cybertron after the other Autobots and Decepticons journeyed to Earth." Makes sense.
* Bay claims "One thing we're getting rid of is what I call the dorky comedy" adding the The Twins are "basically gone" but comic relief John Turturro returns. Bay's "basically gone" comment seems to confirm that they have a short appearance in the film.
* In the new film Sam Witwicky is "taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. "Shia has this great line: 'You know, I've saved the world twice, but I can't get a job.'" Okay, so Transformers is never gonna get a screenplay nomination at the Academy Awards.
* The plot also "delves into the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets. "The movie is more of a mystery," Bay says. "It ties in what we know as history growing up as kids with what really happened."
* Transformers 3 is the end of a trilogy. Bay says "As a trilogy, it really ends. It could be rebooted again, but I think it has a really killer ending." It basically sounds like Bay is done with the series, and the ending of the movie is a finale of sorts.
* The film also features a set "built to resemble a dilapidated nuclear reactor."

He is how Gamestop word the announcement.
"Reserve Transformers: War for Cybertron and gain access to the GameStop

MEGATRON, and is playable only in Escalation mode in Multiplayer mode.
