Transfandom are reporting that Galaxy Force may well be dropped due to poor sales in the near future. They received an email stating that "...the sales of Galaxy Force (Cybertron) figures are very bad in Japan and Takara will cancel later figures. Only four figures (black Leobreaker, Galvatron, Soundwave and Metroplex) will be sold and all the others are cancelled...". At this stage the story is still a rumour, but you with the recent Tomy - Takara merger, Tomy may have already started to make cost cutting decisions.
TFW2005.com report here that a new 'Pepsi Promotion Convoy' will be released in Japan in December priced at 3900 yen (about £20). The toy will feature a new trailer for carrying a bottle of the soft drink.

We're updated our August Mirror of the Japanese Image Board with 20 pictures from the Character Hobby 2005 event in Japan. The images include photographs of Re-issue Star Convoy (in packaging), re-issue Galvatron (normal colours but with Matrix), Red Alert and Sunstreaker from the BinalTech* series, Galaxy Force Megalo-Convoy & Soundwave and the next Japanese Hobby Magazine toy, Black Robotmaster Lio Convoy (in the TRU Black Lio Convoy colours not the black Lucky Draw Lio Convoy colours).
