TFW2005 has received what it calls confirmation from the their Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen insider that hat Jetfire will be an Autobot and not a Decepticon in the upcoming movie.  It would appear that the Decepticon symbols previously reported on the SR-71 Blackbird were part of Michael Bay's misinformation campaign.

Once again no name or source is listed, which could just be a clever advertising campaign for TFW, as it will be picked up by some newspaper articles, though once again due to the inside contacts they have at Hasbro  it is highly likely that TFW2005 would have an insider on the Revenge of the Fallen team.

TMZ are running a story that Michael Bay's house in Mexico was broken into whilst he was off filming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ director Michael Bay was the victim of a home break-in at his apartment in New Mexico last night. He's staying down there while filming "Transformers 2." If surveillance video of the crime exists, it's probably grossly over-directed, but will take in $100 mil at the box office anyway.

Authorities wouldn't confirm what was taken, but we can only hope it was every copy of the movie "Pearl Harbor."

No one has been arrested yet, but authorities are looking for "persons of interest."

Aintitcool.com is reporting that that the Star Trek movie, written by Roberto Orci, will have the full Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer attached to it.  The new Star Trek film is set to open in the US on May 8th 2009, which would only be little over 2 months before the second Tramnsformers live-action movie is set to hit the big screen itself.

Roberto Orci had previously confirmed that a teaser trailer will be released later this year.

TFW2005 have posted a summary of the latest comments from Roberto Orci regarding the sequal to the Transformers movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Roberto Orci has answered more of your questions about the upcoming sequel to the Transformers Live Action Movie, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In the last couple of days, Mr Orci has confirmed that principle photography for Transformers 2 will wrap "another five weeks or so".

Also, without confirming what Soundwave will turn into (or the Ice Cream truck robot), Roberto Orci stated that Soundwave will not be an ice cream truck, nor will he be an iPod or a combiner made of many iPods.

Asked about Jazz, the answer was a solid "NO" to appearances in either flashbacks or a full return. Where does this leave the recent image leaks? Watch this space for more information!

Asked about Devastator, Roberto's response was, "IF such a thing were to happen, it would be done very realistically".

Roberto Orci also again stated that this movie will deal more specifically with the mythology of the Transformers.

And last, but not least, a question that has been asked by many fans: Will a potentially resurrected Megatron be adopting the name Galvatron? The response to this question is:

"We talked about it a lot."

TF08.net has posted new pictures of prototypes for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toyline which appear to be Legends-class figures. The images include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee an Osprey (similar to the Incinerator) and the SR-71 Blackbird jet (said to be Jetfire).

This could mean that Incinerator will make his film debut, ot just simply that the Osprey will feature again in the Movie.  Then again it could just be that Hasbro will release the toy as a non-film character, though that seems unlikely to happen in the first wave of toys.

TFW2005 have received a report from an unnamed source, who they claim they know and has been accurate in the past, stating that Devastator will be appearing in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in the form of a 2 part combiner robot.

The confirmation includes the following details:

- Seven construction vehicles merge to form Devastator
- Devastator has lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla
- Not just green, some of the vehicles are red and yellow
- The previously Long Haul concept art by Josh Nizzi is legit

Although it is always dubious when websites claim that news is confirmed without naming sources, you have to bear in mind that both Hasbro and Robert Orci, as well as various other offiicial Transformers related people either officially (Orci) or unofficially post on their board / supply them with information.

Toywang, who posted the images of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen covertte head and robot mode images late last week have posted some more designed which are claimed to be of the Chevy Trax and the Audi R8.

Following on from the news we broke this morning, TF08.net have added another image of the prototype Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Corvette figure on their message board.

A member of ACToys.net (since banned) was posting about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen designs he claimed to have, and enquiring about using that Chinese site to produce fake items before the official Transformers 2 figures are released.  The user was posting using the image below as his avatar (click for full sized image), which has lead chinese base fan S250 to speculate this this is the head of the character.  The banned member also posted a Taobao auction using the image.
