Hasbro's Transformers Site has updated with a news item about the previously seen metallic
T ransformers Movie Voyager Megatron and Ratchet toys. The toys go on sale today in the US exclusively at Best Buy.

Hasbro states that it will "be taking several of the best Transformers Movie toys from all the size classes (Deluxe, Voyager and Leader) and giving them the same metallic finish and display box treatment as a part of a Premium collector's line."

No details on the figures are announced, though it would make sense to be the toys from the actual film.

Although the toy isn't new, as it's out for sale in the US and Hong Kong, Fat Guy's gallery gives you a chance to have a look at the figure if you're torn between buying it or not.

TFWorld2005 Boards Member Omnius has found the Transformers Movie Scout Assortment at the Darlington Woolworths. The toys had previously been sighted in Europe and was exclusively available at Target in the US.

TFWorld2005 have once again been sent some Hasbro stock images of the Transformers Movie Battle Set toys. The sets include a Deluxe sized Transformers Movie figure along with small human pieces (in most cases). The sets include Towline / Bumblebee (new mold, missing legs), Scorponok with US Army, Bumblebee with Sector Seven, Barricade with Sam, Mikaela and Frenzy.

If you click on the thumbnail below you'll be taken to a larger image showing some of the Transformers Movie toys scheduled for release in 2007/2008. Included in the lineup are the Swerve and blue Ironhide toys, as well as Evac (Blackout repaint) and the Sector Seven Transforming vehciles.

Most of these toys appeared in the Hasbro panel at BotCon 2007

Big Phill (also know as Phill) posted a topic of TFWorld2005 regarding a yellow version of the Chinese Transformers Movie Swerve toy. You can see Phill's thread here and the auction here.

There's currently no information on why the toy is yellow and not red, or if there are any other colours.
