TFW2005.com are running a story, from Kapow Toys that Waves 4 and 5 of the best selling Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toyline has been delayed (wave 4) and cancelled (Wave 5) in the UK! This is said to be due to the demand in the US for those toys, so stock allocated for the UK will now be sold domestically in the US.
The figures in these waves of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe toys (including the Ice Cream Truck Twins Skids & Mudflap, Dead End, Jolt and Blaze Master) and the Wave 5 Voyagers (Long Haul and Grindor) No reason is given for the apparent cancellation of the fifth wave of Voyagers.
They also report however that the Wave 5 Deluxes, including Arcee, Stalker Scorponok and Swerve, has begun to creep into stores - although they do not say which or where.
Both Amazon.co.uk and Play.com have listed the DVD for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen as 30th November 2009. This is over one month later than the North American release, due on 20th Octber.
HMV are also reporting that they will have a exclusive 2 disk edition of
the film, although there is no word on what the extra features will contain.
It:s taken quiet a while but Transformers has finally shifted Ben 10 off the top of the Action Figure charts (although it still lags behind it as an overall toy property in the UK).
Time to celebrate Hasbro UK - why not spend a little money and send some staff to Auto Assembly, which in on next week (shameless plug).
The NPD Research shows that Action Figures and Role play had a good month (June 2009) mainly due to Transformers and the release of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen movie, The property only came out in Mid June yet shifted enough to put it to the top of the Action Figure charts. HM Armed Forces and Bakugan also continue to to well.

At the SDCC it was announced that IDW will be releasing a follow-up story ot Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen entitled Transformers: Nefarious. Well ComicsContinuum.com have a little snippet of information which they have published regarding the series.
Transformers: Nefarious will be a six-issue mini-series, written by Simon Furman, with art by Carlos Magno. It is scheduled to launch early next year. The story will follow a shadowy organization with devious designs on the Transformers. "The latest Transformers movie added several very cool elements to the tapestry -- Soundwave and Ravage being my favorites -- and wešre keen to explore them," said Andy Schmidt, IDW's Transformers editor. "Our story tracks a new organization with 'nefarious' designs on the robots in disguise. Their technology gives them a tactical advantage not yet seen in the films." Brian Rood will provide variant covers for the mini-series.
Josh Nizzi has updated his website with several concept and design images that he produced for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The images include concepts for Jetfire, Optimus Prime and a Burger King sponsored character. You may also note that many of the "leaked" images that appeared before Revenge of the Fallen was released were in fact artwork created by Josh.
