Auto Assembly have released the following information regarding issues with the Hilton's online booking system

In recent weeks, it has become apparent that there have been some issues with the Hilton’s Auto Assembly mini site (accessible via the link found in your AA ticket confirmation emails). Whilst the technical hitch has not affected all site users, it was causing some attendees to have difficulties booking rooms for certain periods over the Auto Assembly 2013 convention weekend.

We are pleased to confirm that having been in discussions with the Hilton for the past few days, the issue now appears to have been resolved. Furthermore we have successfully negotiated a deal whereby the Hilton has kindly agreed to afford extra rooms for Auto Assembly attendees, such has been the popular demand. We hope this will go some way to helping everybody out.

We would however bring the following points to your attention.

1. If you attempt to start a booking, but then leave the website, you may be blocked from re-entering later. To counter this please clear your browser cookies and ensure that you do not allow the page to time out. (This will not happen quickly – basically just don’t wander off mid-booking!)
2. Due to excellent ticket sales, currently running over 10% above time time last year, there are limited rooms remaining at the Hilton, even taking into account the new rooms which have been added for us.To avoid disappointment, please book as soon as you are able to.

Could this be a new Sideswipe or could it be a Decepticon, Lockdown perhaps? Time will reveal all.

Michael Bay has also posted a new groupshot of the Autobots over on his Flickr account on the 1st June which is missing both the Lamborghini and what appeared to be Ratchet who is yet to be officially announced and was spotted at the back of the original groupshot image by HotshotsWorldWide

Rauken has been updated with a post containing a picture of the upcoming Transformers Kabaya Scamble City limbs

Each mould is used for two figures, although they are built differently to differentiate the characters (for eample Blast Off and Vortex).

These figures will be coming in other colours to help differentiate.

The first six are capable of combining amongst themselves to form a larger robot as well as being added to the team leader

Beast Wars fans may want to make plans to travel to Canada later this year as TFCon have announed that Venus Terzo, voice of Blackarachnia, will be in attendance

Last night Michael Bay confirmed that the military truck which was revealed as an Autobot in recent on-set images will indeed be called Hound.  The bio on Mr Bays's website read as "The always rugged and reliable Hound, one of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles from Oshkosh Defense. High resolution".  We'd expect Hasbro to release a "Roadbuster" style recolour either as Roadbuster or as "Roadbuster Bulkhead" when a toy is eventually released.

In releated news, Fox Detroit have posted a video, which can be viewed below, regarding the recent Transformers 4 casting call which took place in Michigan. The report states that Michael Bay will be stepping up his filming within the area including using the location to shoot parts of the story which will be set within Hong Kong.

TFC Toys have announced that they will be producing an upgrade set for their Uranos figure.  Uranos is the groups non-official Superion releasee with the upgrade set including new "g1-themed" guns both for the individual robots as well as Uranos himself and a new "G1 body shield".  You can view all of the images after the jump

Million Publishing have tweeted out that their forthcoming Transformers Generations 2013 book will now be released towards the end of July.  Via their blog the team apologise for the delay with the books release and say that everyone should keep their eyes on the groups Twitter feed, blog, and the book's official website for further details.

The Allspark have posted some scans from the July 2013 issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine over on their Facebook page.  The images focus on the Transformers Go! series, Super GT as well as a focused look at the upcoming Masterpiece Tigertracks figure.

A new photo has been taken on the set of Transformers 4 which is said to contain the Autobot cast.  If you look closely at the image you will notice that there are 6 vehicles which appear to include Ratchet at the back left, the three cars and Optimus Prime who have been seen already and a new truck which could be a new look for Ironhide or potentially the "Grimlock" character.

A casting call has been put out for extras for a Transformers 4 shoot in Detroit asking for "Males and Females, ages 18+." They are specifically looking for "Clean Cut Business types, Military types, and FBI Agent types. Also seeking Asian families ALL AGES". An open casting call has been scheduled for the latest Paramount Pictures film Transformers 4. The sequel directed by Michael Bay will begin shooting in Austin, TX in June 2013. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, and Brenton Thwaites.  The extras will be cast throughout filming. Additional shooting will take place in various locations including China.

 This open call will be held in Detroit, MI for area filming. They are seeking Males and Females, ages 18+. They are specifically looking for Clean Cut Business types, Military types, and FBI Agent types. Also seeking Asian families ALL AGES. Please come dressed in appropriate attire. Be prepared to have your photo taken. Bring pen to fill out application.

Thanks to the Japanese image boards, a scan has been posted which revealed the Japanese Transformers Go Ninja combiner team.  The three robot team consists of Gekisomaru, a lion, Hishomaru (an eagle) and Sensuimaru (a shark). You can view the image below.

Joblo.com, the website that previously reported rumors regarding the identities of several new characters to be included in Transformers 4, is now claiming to know the names of the two Auotbot vehicles that were revealed yesterday. According to their source the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse is Drift, and the 2014 Concept C7 Corvette Stingray is Slingshot.

Drift may well be the rumoured  "Samurai  looking to regain his honor by joining the Autobots" character, which would kind of tie in to the IDW Character of the same name. 

Nelson, admin of Shoot for the Edit, has pointed out that production names do not always end up being final names .. though it's probably unlikey they would change 

Thanks to Snakas for updating Autobase Aichi with news and images of the latest Transformers Kabaya figures to be annouced.  They include the Aerialbots, Stunticons and Combaticons and are due for release on the 20th of August.

The figures include Onslaught, Mortormaster and Silverbolt whilst Snakas speculates that the limbs for all three will be released later.
