The-Arker has posted some new in-packaging images of two
Transformers Animated figures that were first shown at Botcon 2009
. The toys are
Cybertron Mode Ratchet and
Arcee. Both figures will be Toys R Us exclusives within the US. You can view the profiles and
Galaactic Powers of both figures below.
Deluxe Cybertron Mode Autobot Ratchet
Back when the war was at its worst,
even the Autobots who weren't programmed to fight were called into
battle. More than once, Autobot Ratchet was forced out onto the
battlfield not just as a medic, but as a warrior. They're not memories
he likes to recall, but he learned more than one lesson that has saved
his life in the years since.
Galactic Powers & Abilities
* Injured Autobots often request him as their medic.
* Specializes in modifying armor and weapons to peak conditions.
* When forced to fight, usually shoot to disable, instead of destroy.
Deluxe Arcee
Arcee has dedicated her life to the
power of information. As a teacher, she saw to it that young Autobots
all learned the value of the facts, and how to tell truth from lies.
During the war, she turned her dedication to the truth to carrying data
for the Autobot High Command, often from deep behind enemy lines. She
will face any danger to defend what is right, no matter what the cost.
Galactic Powers & Abilities
* One of the top sword fighters on Cybertron
* Modified to make rocket-powered jumps in car mode.
* Encrypted memory core is nearly impossible to hack.
Don't forget to check out
TransformersAnimated.com for all your Transformers Animated news.
Update: Both galleries have been updated with more images of the toy.

Chinese fansite, The-Arker, has posted some new images of Electrostatic Soundwave and Freeway Jazz in packaging. The images also include their bio's which read as:
Electrostatic Soundwave
After a couple of years working alongside Laserbeak, Soundwave
realized it was time for a change. His new partner, Ratbat, lets him
lay down multiple tracks of sound at a time, creating frequencies that
can do more than just control other robots. Now, Soundwave is into
straight-up mind control. Using complex synch beats he can make people
- and even the Autobots - do whatever he wants.
Freeway Jazz
With Decepticon activity at its peak near the galaxy rim, rumors
begin to circulate that Earth may be getting more evil visitors as
well. In anticipation of incoming Decepticons, Autobot Jazz goes
undercover, inmersing himself in Earth culture where he hides in plain
site. He can enjoy the sights and sound of Earth while planning the
perfect moment to strike.

Jim Sorenson has stopped by The Allspark with some exciting news for fellow Transformers
Animated fans. Here is what The Allspark reports "It seems that himself, Bill Forster, Derrick Wyatt and
Marty Isenberg are all on board for a second volume of the Allspark
Almanac book, should the first book sell well enough. Additionally,
Marty Isenberg is also eager to write a "Season 4" for Animated that
could be released in comic book form.
So what do you need to do to help get these made? Here's what Jim Sorenson has to say:
The
best strategy is to buy one for yourself, advocate to people who might
be interested, and above all make some noise. Let IDW and Hasbro know
that you like the book by posting on their forum or publishing an amazon review
- preferably both. Bill and I (and Marty and Derrick) are super-keen to
do the follow-up volume and finish out season 3. I know Marty is
itching to do a virtual season 4 in comic book form too. Right now,
TPTB will be looking at this volume as a bellwether."
