We have created two new Japanese Hobby Magazine images galleries for your viewing pleasure. Both are July 2010 issues of the respective magazines with the magazines being TV Magazine and TV Boy. Both magazines include several pages dedicated to Transformers Animated of which you can find shortcuts to the images below.
TV Boy (Terebi Kun) contained a scheduled for the episodes that will air in Japan as well as images of Ironhide, Lugnut, Blitzwing, Bumblebee, Soundblaster, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Jetfire and Jetstorm. The two card arcade games are also shown with a recoloured Starscream.
TV Magazine contains a brief look at the Headmaster robot, an introduction to Blitzwing as well as an introduction to Lugnut's character. All of the toys shown in TV Boy are shown in this publication as well but they also include pictures of Blackout, Grimlock, Swoop and Snarl

Cybertron.ca member transbot90210 has posted a sighting for the
Toys R Us exclusive
Cybertronian Mode Ratchet and
Arcee Transformers Animated deluxe figures. The toys Canadian release will give hope to other countries that they may yet still see a domestic release of these figures themselves.

Amazon.co.jp have posted a listing for the upcoming Transformers Animated Secret Encyclopaedia book that will be released in Japan in June costing 610yen, about £4.50. The book is a children's book from Tokuma and Poplar

Derrick Wyatt has now answered 933 questions over on formspring.me which covers the Transformers Animated series, the universe in general and just about anything.
Derrick will be over in the UK in August as one of the guest of honour for Auto Assembly 2010. and event at which you will be able to meet the man himself, ask him your own questions and generally thank him for his work on Transformers Animated.

Snakas is reporting that Rakuten
Ichiba Santa toy store has two new Transformers Animateditems listed.
The first is for a Transformers gum
card 20 card set which includes chewing gum and a card and is priced at 105 yen with a July release.
The 2nd is for a painted PVC figure that go on sale in August priced at 315 yen. The figures are of Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee.

It seems we have all missed some Japanese release news as Japanese children's picture book publisher Popura have announced that the first book, number 68, from a new series called Transformers Animated Collection (????????????????????????) was released today in Japan priced at 735yen. The book contains information on both the animated TV series as well as the toys. You can view the cover below.

The first information on a Japanese DVD release of Transformers Animated has come courtesy of Rakuten. The information given is that volume 1 will be released on the 6th August priced at 3,129 yen and will contain four episodes. It seems that the DVDS may only feature the Japanese audio option and will be released by Paramount.

The Japanese Exclusive Transformers Animated merchandise continues to be released with indlucin the below Transformers Animated
gashapon (capsule) figure. The "Microbots
Collection" is done in the super deformed style, similar to those of previous Japanese Transformers series such as Beast Wars II. The lineup will feature Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream, Blackarachnia and Grimlock.
