Below you will find a tag cloud of the most popular news story tags. Simply click on the tag to view all associated stories. Tag clouds are not always the most useful output of tagging, and so you can also browse the news stories using our tag index by clicking on the tag index tag below the tag cloud.
From this section you can browser through all of the possible tags that may have been assigned to a news story. The number of stories tagged to each tag appears within brackets after the tag name. E.G Megatron (456) means that 456 news stories have been tagged with the phrase "Megatron". To navigate, simply use the top bar to browse by the first character of the tag phrase.

Transformers dan Draven has posted news direct from Hasbro's Leader Designer Eric Siebenaler on Facebook that the Transformers Power Core Combiners figure Spastic, from the Stunticons set is to be given a new name due to the backlash from UK media.
Remember the figure is not planned for a UK release.
You may remember a month or so ago we announced news that Paramount Pictures published details of a gold deluxe Transformers Animated Megatron figure. Well the page was pulled after four days of being online from their server and nothing was ever officially said again, that is until now as TakaraTomy have updated their own site with the same images and information on the competition which you can find here.
The toy will be officially limited to 1000 pieces, though like the Gold Animated Optimus Prime, more will be made

The Allspark.com member Darkmount recently contacted Hasbro UK to ask when future waves of Transformers Generations would be released in the UK (so Wave 3 onwards), the reply he received back was that there would be no further Transformers Generations figures released within the UK. Now its quiet possible that the customer service representative only has the release schedules for this year and thus is not aware of 2011 releases, but time will tell
Thank you for your interest in our Transformers product line.
Regrettably, I can confirm that we will not be offering any further case assortments from the Generations line.
I
can confirm however that we will be fully supporting all other
Transformers lines, including the newly released Stealth Force toys.
Please continue to check your local retailer for new products.
Kind regards,
Sarah

Thanks to 4Chan we can share with you images of some upcoming Transformers figures.
Our thanks go out to Phantomfish for bringing us the great news that Masterpiece Grimlock is now available from the Toys r Us website here. He'll cost you £59.99 but has also been physically sighted on shelves. Let the race begin.
Could these be related to the third live action Transformers Film? Quiet likely. "Spark You Summer" sounds very much like an advertising theme similar to Transform Your Summer. "Autobot Alliance" is the Japanese name for the "Hunt For The Decepticons" subline (thanks to King Grimlock for pointing that out) whilst "Destination Earth" remains uncertain.

As well as emailing regarding the Power Core Combiner problem, Adam Forse also reported finding the Deluxe Generations figures in his local Toymaster store (Exeter) priced at £9.99! Adam has rightly asked the question is this a "mistake, or a new price point?".
Let us know about sightings in your area whilst we try to find out from Hasbro UK
