The Tokyo Toy Show is on in Japan and TakaraTomy are showing off their 2014 releases including the Transformers: Lost Age figures, Transformers Cloud, Transformers Legends as well as the Masterpiece line.  PHotographs from the event are hitting the internet and so we have mirrored some which can be viewed by clicking on the headline.

The show highlights include Masterpieces Ultra Magnus and Evangelion Convoy as well as Transformers Cloud Rodimus and Shockwave.

Paramount Pictures have changed the release dates of both the Australian and Egyptian screenings of Transformers: Age of Extinction.  The Australian date has been bought forward to the 25th June 2014 with the Egyptian release now being bumped even further to the 23rd June making it the first country to have the film released!!

In related news it appears that Paramount Pictures are not going to be running any advance, FDA or advertiser / sponsor / licensor only screenings this year here within the UK. Normally this is a sighn that the stuio have low expectations for a movies release, but it may also simply be down to the World Cup.

Several new auctions have appeared on eBay for the Botcon 2014 exclusive Flamewar figure. These figure is a redeco of the Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters Arcee deluxe figure who's colour schema is based on the Botcon 2005 attendee exclusive.  You can view the images below as well as all of the Botcon images after the jump.

Takara-Tomy have updated their website with the announcement of a new line of Transformers toys called "Transformers Legends".  The line is basically the new official Japanese title for the Generations Figures but also contains some Japanese exclusive items.  The first two releases to be announced are Rattle (Rattrap) and Convoy (Optimus Primal), from Beast Wars. Rattle is the Generations Deluxe class Rattrap figure with a new deco whilst Convoy is the 10th Anniverary Golden Disk Beast Wars Ultra class toy. They are currently due for release in October 2014.

Toys R Us Japan vepdated their website with a new listing for their exclusive Lost Age version of Evasion Mode Optimus Prime. This figure is schedule for release on August 10th and will run you about 4,999 yen.

We have found some new Transformers related trademarks filed with the USPTO by Hasbro Inc. The trademarks are:

Hero X tweeted some updates regarding Million Publishing's poll which they are running to choose their next exclusive figure. Ameblo.jp have updated their website with some new images of the Sentinel transforming Optimus Prime pen, or the "Convoy Pen" to give use it's official name. The working pen will go on sale in September of this year for 3,980 yen and will be available in three colour schemes. The first is a traditional red and blue Convoy / Optimus Prime theme, the second is a Decepticon Black recolour and the third is a white Ultra Magnus recolour. The images, which can be seen below, appear to have been coloured on a computer so the final products may vary.

The Official Transformers Movie Facebook Page have announce that the theme song for Transformers: Age Of Extinction will release on June 2nd 2014.  The song it titled Battle Cry and is by Imagine Dragons. It has also been confirmed that Composers Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer contributed to the song.

"Catch the new song "Battle Cry" by Imagine Dragons coming worldwide June 2nd on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records!"

The Facebook page for Gamestop has posted a link to a YouTube video of Drift from Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. Drift is from the Age of Extinction section of the game with the video showing another look at some of the gameplay aspects of the title. You can view the video velow!
