Thanks to SydneyY from TFW2005 for reporting TaTakara-Tomy has updated their website for the Transformers Prime line with information on a new Lucky Draw prize toy campaign. The top prize is a gold chrome version of the AM-01 Arms Micron Optimus Prime - other prizes include a gold Arms Micron and a voice base.

This campaign starts at the end of May. It appears to be run in a similar way as the DOTM Lucky Draw campaigns.

Prize A: Gold Optimus Prime (Voyager)
Prize B: "Talking" Figure base (voice of Optimus Prime)
Prize C: Gold ARMS Micron
Prize D: Wallpaper download

The product which will include the code required to enter the competition are Prime AM series, EZ Collection and ARMS Micron gashapon. 2 codes are needed per entry. (Gashapons only have one code for the entire line, which means you can obtain only one code no matter how many gashapons you buy, which seems fair enough considering their low price.)

Yahoo Auction Japan members may have spotted two auctions that ended over the last two days for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Gold Megatron.  The first auction sold for 103,000 yen with the second auction, from the same seller, which also came with the a gold mech-tech weapon sold for 168,000 yen.

The latest issue of the Japanese magazine aimed at boys aged between 9 and 13 called ケロケロエース, pronounced KeroKero Ace, ­was release today that comes complete with their exclusive green recolour of Transformers EX Collection Movie Starscream.  The toy, officially known as Keroscream (Frog Scream)­ features in a ­four page colour comic story by Naoto Tsushima which details the story behind the birth of the Frog Scream. Natoto Tsushima posted a preview image on his pixiv.net account which we have mirrored at the end of this story.

As well as coming with the toy and the mini-manga, the magazine also contains a "Custom Sticker Frog Scream Contest" which uses a sticket that accompanies the magazine. You can enter as many times as you like with the winners receiving autographs as well as an exclusive gold Lucky Draw Megatron.

The magazine also features the upcoming Transformers Prime, Transformers United and Transformers Arms Campaign figures.

We own the prize letter that was sent out to the winners, though that had not been added to the image gallery yet.

We have decided not to open the figure at present so the gallery only includes images of the figure still carded.

Toy-Hobby-World have posted three scans from the latest issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine. The scans have another look at the next Japanese Luck Draw figure, Sentinel Prime, as well as showing some new images of the upcoming DA­-28 Striker Optimus Prime and Human Alliance Soundwave toy. TakaraTomy have announced, via their website, their latest prize campaign within Japan, also known as the lucky draw c­ampaigns, with the top prize this time being a gold chrome Transformers: Dark Side Moon Sentinel Prime.  Dark Side Moon being the Japanese name for the 3rd live action Transformers movie.

The figure will be limited to 10 pieces with collectors able to enter the competition by collecting the serial codes from the Transformers Dark Side Moon toys.  Other then the 10 Voyager Sentinel Primes other prizes include 10 special edition Transformers web cameras and 100 new gold Mech Tech weapon.

Alfes 2010 has updated his blog with images of the latest edition to Takara-Tomy's Lucky Draw Transformers MechTech weapons.

This silver chromed version of Deluxe Skids' MechTech weapon was available to Japanese customers who purchased 3000 yen worth Transformers toys at Joshin Kids Land, Bic Camera, Yamada Denki, or Yodobashi Camera

KO Toys have posted an image of a knock off Gold Masterpiece Convoy toy.

TakaraTomy has updated their website with cleaner images of the Transformers Dark of the Moon Lucky Draw Voyager Optimus Prime with Trailer and Voyager Megatron.

Along with Gold Bumblebee and Gold Sentinel Prime they make up the four Dark of the Moon Lucky Draw figure (clidk for a larger view)

Images from Figure King 162 have appeared (we did a text summary recently).  What we noticed was the images of the Lucky Draw Transformers Dark of the Moon toys, including the previously seen ­Gold Optimus Prime, Gold Bumblebee and Gold Megatron - noticeable by his absence is Gold Sentinel Prime.
