The CyberGundamBlog has been updated with some scans from the latest issue of Dengeki Gobby Magazine which included some images of the upcoming Transformers Dual Model Kits. The kits are of Transformers Movie Optimus Prime and Bumblebee and are similar to the Trans-Scanning toys that were released in line with the first live action Transformers Movie in as much as the models are build as protoforms with armour that is attached to then build them into the Earth forms of the two Autobots. The Trans-Scanning toys were a unique idea that, sadly, did not really catch on and were not released in the Western markets. You can view mirrored images of the model kits below though.

We have received the following release and images Rogers & Cowan (Consumer, Entertainment & Sports)
TRANSFORMERS DAYTONA 500 CAST – Grand Marshal Announcement
The stars of "TRANSFORMERS: Dark of the Moon"– Josh Duhamel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and director Michael Bay – will serve as the Grand Marshals for 53rd running of the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, airing at 12 p.m. ET on FOX. As Grand Marshals, the TRANSFORMERS cast will deliver the four most famous words in motorsports – "Gentlemen, start your engines."
In addition, the modified NASCAR stock cars of drivers Jimmie Johnson, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. -- featured as characters in the film -- will make their first public appearance by leading the 43-car field during the pace laps of "The Great American Race," the kick-off event to the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.
The Daytona 500 will not be Bay or TRANSFORMERS’ first introduction to the NASCAR world. In 2009, Bay piloted the official pace car at a NASCAR Sprint Cup race to promote the DVD release of "TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the Fallen." NASCAR drivers Jeff Gordon and Ryan Newman also took part, racing with branded images of opposing AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS on their cars and uniforms. Bay credits his vision to include NASCAR stock cars in the new TRANSFORMERS film to this experience.

2011 TRANSFORMERS LINE CAPTURES THE ADVENTURE OF FIRST-EVER 3-D TRANSFORMERS MOVIE
New MECHTECH and CYBERVERSE Lines Lead Next Generation of TRANSFORMERS Action Figures, Vehicles and 3D Character Masks
Pawtucket, R.I., (February 2011) — The iconic TRANSFORMERS brand from
Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), which has become one of the most successful
entertainment franchises of the 21st century, reaches new heights in
2011 when the heroic AUTOBOTS and the villainous DECEPTICONS once again
invade movie theaters around the world to continue their epic battle.
The new Paramount Pictures live-action movie from director Michael Bay,
and executive producer Steven Spielberg, TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON
picks up from the last movie with the DECEPTICONS vowing to avenge their
defeat and ultimately results in mysterious ties to the 1960’s space
race between the US and USSR. The movie — which will be the first-ever
TRANSFORMERS film in 3D — opens worldwide on July 1, 2011.
The TRANSFORMERS brand has delivered “MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE” fun to
legions of kids around the world for more than 25 years with action
figures that convert from robot to vehicle and back again. As one of the
hottest global entertainment properties, the TRANSFORMERS brand
launches a deep and innovative product line in 2011 that captures the
excitement of the movie while introducing new play patterns and
experiences to the brand for kids and fans alike. Highlights in 2011
include the new MECHTECH and CYBERVERSE action figure segments and SPEED
STARS STEALTH FORCE vehicles. Continuing the innovation, the
TRANSFORMERS brand is excited to announce the new CINE-MASK 3D role-play
masks. These TRANSFORMERS character masks feature built in RealD 3D
lenses and can be worn to RealD 3D theater showings or fans can enjoy as
a role play item at home to recreate the TRANSFORMERS fantasy.
Following are detailed highlights from the new TRANSFORMERS line.
TRANSFORMERS MECHTECH Action Figures
One of the most innovative toy lines in history introduces the next
revolution in TRANSFORMERS action figures with the new MECHTECH line.

TRANSFORMERS MECHTECH figures to “power-up” the figure. Leading the way
in this new expression is the MECHTECH ULTIMATE OPTIMUS PRIME action
figure, one of the largest, most impressive TRANSFORMERS action figures.
Following are highlights of the new MECHTECH line.

Coming Soon.net have posted a description of the upcoming Transformers: Dark Of The Moon trailer.
"Transformers: Dark of the Moon, from the
teaser, plays it on conspiracy theories related to the moon landing. The
first part of the movie alternates images of the control room at NASA
and of the astronauts on the moon. The landing is what we know well, as
are the famous words about the "giant leap for mankind." But we did not
know what is the journey of the astronauts on the dark side of the moon,
until the control room do not tell them that "... then we are not
alone." Then we see some Transformers: the camera comes close to the eye
of one of them, which starts to flash. But the camera does not stop,
and takes us inside the robot and its mechanisms, making us understand
that it's coming back into action."
