in a new interview with Hasbro Studios' Stephen Davies, posted on WorldScreen.com, some early details regarding the next Transformers TV series (a reboot) have been given out. Everything was pretty much as expected, that the series will be made with a lighter tone, aimed at a younger audience and taking queues from Rescue Bots.
TV KIDS: What new shows do you have coming up?
DAVIES: We have this great new show, which is kind of the entry point forTransformers for littler boys called Transformers Rescue Bots. Although interestingly, when we reimagined Transformers for a younger generation, typically big brother doesn’t want to watch what little brother is watching, but because the Transformers brand resonates across so many generations and it’s so relevant and relatable, we’re actually finding that while we conceived Rescue Bots principally for 4- to 5-year-olds, the older brother, who is 7 or 8 years old, is also watching with little brother.
We just talked about co-viewing and children wanting to watch with their parents, well, now we have this show where little brother wants to watch with older brother and big brother also wants to watch with little brother, which is a phenomenal opportunity because, again, there are not a lot of shows where you have that kind of multigenerational appeal at all levels. In fact, Rescue Botsinspired us for our new chapter of Transformers, because Rescue Bots is a much simpler show to understand, the transformations are much simpler, and it’s a lighter, brighter, more humorous approach. So a lot of what we learned fromRescue Bots we are now applying to our new Transformers series.
It starts with Transformers; we’ve had several very successful seasons ofTransformers Prime. Excitedly, Finn Arnesen, who runs international distribution for us, is introducing our new Transformers series, which is a lot of fun because it really harkens back to the old Transformers: Generation 1 days. It’s a lighter, brighter more comedic show. It’s still full of all the wonderful characters that our fans love, but it’s really a complete reimagination of our Transformers series, which we will be rolling out next year.

TakaraTomy have been tweeting out character models of Beast Convoy, Fire Convoy, Super Mode Convoy, Grand Convoy and Galaxy Convoy to promote the Fans Choice Masterpiece contest which is taking place. It seems, however, that some fans are incorrectly mistaking these character models for designs of Masterpiece figures of the characters. They are not. Most of the sheets clearly contain the date stamps and are also available within our Series Bible section of the website which contains various models sheets from Beast Wars and Beast Wars II as well as some Car Robot sheets. We own character models from G1 through to TF Animated so let us know if you would like to see more of these types of galleries.
The sheets which have been shared by TakaraTomy can be found after the jump

Roberto Orci has been interviewed by IGN regarding the next Transformers animated series. Roberto confirmed that both he and Alex Kurtzman will be returning to produce the new series and but also has started that it will be more kid-friendly and less intense than Transformers Prime but that they would welcome back Peter Cullen and Frank Welker to the show.
It’s not really a reboot, it’s sort of a continuation of it [Transformers Prime] in a tonally different form. We want to make sure we’re servicing the right audiences. We got to do a very adult version of Transformers that you just saw in this cartoon, a very sophisticated one, and we also want to make sure we don’t leave other kids behind, who love Transformers too and don’t want to be as scared as Transformers Prime could make you, that kind of thing. So we’re going to have a good parallel series that is connected, but it’s a little more friendly to the family.
When asked whether the show will be a "kids-only affair", Roberto replied:
I would say that clever wit always makes it something more adult. I think the look of it, you may find, is more kid-friendly. But we certainly don’t intend to be any less entertaining or any less Transformers. But there is a little bit of truth to that. I won’t deny that also, yes, we’re trying to make sure that younger kids who really love Transformers aren’t put off by its intensity.
You can watch the first episode of Transformers Go over on Chinese video sharing site Tudou.com. If you have problems playing the video due to your geographical region, switch your useragent to a phone (iPhones may not be compatible) and you should have no trouble watching the episode.

Hydra, who currently works for Part One Ltd / e-Hobby, has posted some information regarding Transformers Go! over on The Allspark taken from the just released magazine information on the upcoming straight-to-dvd animated series.
"Well, looks like the information is legitimately out...
The magazine spread for Go! said that Optimus and co. had sealed Predaking [Dragotron] away inside the Earth using the artfact known as the "Legendisk," and left Earth to hunt down other Predacons who had spread throughout the galaxy. They entrusted the duty of hunting down the scattering of Predacons still on Earth to a team of six Autobots...
In that sense, it takes place after BH, but whether it will link up smoothly is anyone's guess.
Basically, the extent to swhich this mirrors Battlestars>OpCom is uncanny. Elite team of powerful Autobots, including Optimus Prime (and BH Op himself is very Star Convoy-ish already) leave Earth to do battle in space. Earth is left in the hands of small team of freely combining Autobots.
Coincidence? Almost certainly.
-Hydra"
